Good stand for odd shaped guitars
This seems to be a good quality stand. I think as long as one doesn't repeatedly setup/breakdown this stand, it should last a long time. It can be set quite tall for longer guitars, maybe basses (can't confim for basses). I bought this for my BC Rich Warbeast and it holds it just fine. Padded in all the right places to protect the finish.Should also work for King/Rhoads Vs, and probably Explorers. Though may need some additional padding for these types with the extreme appendages.Hang it! Don't lean it!

Cheap Foam ruins your finish.
When you get this it has a tag saying do not use if your guitar is painted with Nitrocellulose paint. This is just cheap foam that destroys guitars .Why not make a stand that is for all guitars or at least say up front this is cheap foam that will RUIN your valuable guitar. This could easily have been a 5 star review but they cut corners and used cheap foam to save money , NOBODY at this company plays guitar they are money makers that are too uneducated to research what they are selling. Let's say they come back with "this is for poly guitars only" 1st tell us upfront , 2nd what if someone gives this to someone or they buy it used it WILL RUIN a valuable guitar. If you are going to sell music supplies at least know what you are doing. Avoid at all cost, It kills guitars!

Works fine
Not as nice as others I've had, but this works fine and is a much better alternative to leaning against a wall or a couch or something. It has some padding where the neck goes, though the neck rests against the stand as the guitar doesn't seem to fit inside the top notch without force. Surprised me a bit, but it still works. The price was right and you get what you pay for. For a casual player, like myself, this should be an economic alternative.

Great stand for all types of guitars.
A lot of my guitars and basses have pointy or oddly shaped lower bouts, and won't stand correctly in a typical guitar stand. This stand suspends them the same as my wall hangers, but rests the lower part of the guitars against the padded front legs. Used properly, I can't see how they could ever get damaged. This stand is sturdy but lightweight, and is a bargain at the current price.

Good
I have several guitars and this stand works as it should. It takes some getting used to, the neck holder is tight so you have to be careful. It supports your guitars nicely.

Very Sturdy
I am comfortable with this stand holding up my pride and joy. I just wish it was a bit more modular, in that it broke down faster when moving equipment.

Tips
It's all right. Barely holds my Jackson King V off the ground without touching the tips. Keep you tip clean Johnny.

I have used better stands. This one is a bit on the cheap side and was probably made in China.
