This product does not seem to have adequate heat sinking ability to provide 100w constantly. Used my laptop (Dell XPS 17) for about two hours plugged into this. Worked well for the first 30 minutes, then it would cycle on and off, and eventually it just stopped charging altogether and the blue light ring around the USB C port no longer illuminates.There was a strong burning plastic smell and the unit was far too hot to touch. With its size, I doubt I received a dud, I just don't think it's large enough to handle 100w continuous load.

Got this so I could use and charge my laptop with a 24v system. While it can output the full 100w on the usb c port, it cant do it for long. I will get about 5-10 mins before it it overheats and shuts down. It also will get so hot that the casing starts to get soft. This might be ok for low loads, but this is not suitable for a laptop. Since the entire reason I got this was for its 100w out and I cant use it, I would not recommend this.

it does have an output of 100 watts but only for the first 5 minutes.it truly does have an overheating protection but it shuts itself off and on repeatedly after the first 5 minutes.i only tested it on a 100 watts cable and powerbank and it worked well for 5 minutes.it becomes extremely hot and it does work as claimed but only for the first 5 minutes. i though that it is better to write this review rather than to continue testing and checking the other claims.

The only reason I bought this is because the USB-C port is rated for 100w, and the macbook draws 85. To me, it looks like an internal fuse blew after a short time charging my 2019 macbook pro. Maybe a good buy in other contexts, but not for that one.

(I've received a replacement unit, will be testing the new one properly and hopefully it works well, at least seller was honest enough to replace mine, will update further after more use) I used it for a couple of days and worked well, today I connected my MacBook Pro since it supposedly can handle 100w, it charged my MacBook for about 5 min before it stopped working. Now the Usb C port doesn't work and that's the only reason I bought this charger.Tried charging my iPhone with the usb c cable afterwards and no luck, port fried, don't buy If you want to charge large equipment.

Great product, arrived quickly and packaged safely. The charger has two ports which is very handy for charging in the car, it can even charge my laptop through the PD port!

I used this product for a two-week road trip, using both the USB-A and USB-C ports at the same time to charge phones (through a multi-connector USB-A) and a laptop (through the USB-C port). The device worked flawlessly, and was notably cooler in temperature when running at high current than some other similar adapters. I'm very pleased with the device, and will add more to my inventory for use in other vehicles. As you can see, I was able to run a PD charging cable on the USB-C port, and a multi-headed adapter on the USB-A.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s a car charger made with quality material. It charges my phone (Xiaomi Poco F3) with quick charge. It also charges my MacBook Air M1 faster than if it were connected in my office. I recommend connecting it to the car outlet that has a charge of more than 100watts to avoid burning a fuse. I am so happy that I can take my computer on the road now and I won’t have to worry about my battery dying.
