Suncast No-Leak Resin Wicker-Looker Hose Reel, Mocha

I had one of these for 15 years, and the sun finally beat it to death. But the new one it’s even better than the first one. Very easy to wind the hose up. This holds a really big hose. Looks great in the yard and easy to use.

To answer the question I'm sure you're asking - yes, it is definitely worth the relatively high price! Cranks smoothly, does not leak, and looks great on our patio next to our wicker furniture. My favorite feature is the little hose guide that moves back and forth while you crank it, so that it distributes perfectly across the reel (no bunching up on one side).One word of advice, definitely leverage the mounting stakes that come with it. Because the product is pretty light, it will drag along the lawn with you if you just pull on the hose to unreel it, unless you have it secured. If it's on concrete, you just have to hold down the top slightly while you unreel it, which hasn't been an issue for us so far. Overall highly recommend.

The unit functions quite well. I put a fairly stiff 100 ft hose in it and it coiled up nicely. I was hoping the unit would be a little more robust. The plastic is thin in some areas. The top cover was molded very poorly and is quite wavy. It doesn’t affect the function at all but it doesn’t look nice.Overall a decent value.

Vendor makes a big selling point in clamming and showing pictures of this hose reel model with the, "NO-LEAK DESIGN: Aluminum connections prevent leaks for drip-free operation" but they KEEP sending to buyers the model with PLASTIC connection!!?? Why?? Does he thinks we are not going to notice?? There is already 4, plus mine today, buyers' reviews, just now in 2022, complaining of this "bite and switch" unwelcome practice: March 21, May 31, June 16, July 14, and October 7. It is reasonable to believe that by now the vendor would have noticed the product being returned with the negative reviews and commentaries about this horrible practice. Maybe at the beginning was a mistake but, five times! It feels more like and intentional dishonesty. Very disrespectful to the public in a very respectable market place like Amazon. I want Amazon management to intervene and contact this vendor to remind them there are certain unacceptable practices in this premier market place. We know the golden rule, "consumer be aware" but the stress and tension of willful dishonesty should not be part of Amazon space.

I love these items. They were super easy to put together, sturdy and look great. I used to have hose spaghetti in my front yard now its really cleaned up.

Thin plastic housing. Overpriced for what it is but I guess everything is nowadays. Works well. Easy winding action. No leaks. I question how long it will last sitting in direct sunlight everyday.
