Erm…. Physics is the answer to your question. Not sure how are comparing as the factors maybe the ice, environment, temperature of liquid before ice, or the cup itself. These cups are definitely not copper cups, but if they were…. Ice would melt faster because copper has a higher thermal conductivity.

Q: Can you use them for hot beverages

The mugs will not be damaged when used with hot drinks but steel is a very good conductor of heat so it can hurt your hand if the drink is very hot.
