The way the lifter folds flat and allows me to carry it in my bowls bag, a great asset.

This is a crown green bowling aid for those who can't bend as low as they would like. Picks up both woods and jack. Good design. Good enough value but not as sturdy as I would have liked. Sturdier though would probably have been heavier and I wouldn't have liked that. Now I feel this gadget has been cheated out of a point!

Well bought late August and already the telescopic shaft has failed! I have tried various makes from most expensive to reasonable but they are all rubbish! It’s a flawed design!!!!

I’ve had four of these now and had various issues. One started to slip down of its own accord. One snapped at joint

For me this is an excellent tool for getting my bowls up from the floor. However, the other week I had to get a bowl that someone had delivered on the wrong bias as it careered across our rink. It was on of the smaller ladies bowls and it fell straight through the prongs, hence the 4 stars. Don’t buy this if you use the smallest bowls - ok for size 1 up though.

May not last a long time and a bit expensive but depends on usage.

Although the lifter is sturdy, easy to assemble and use, it has a bolthead protruding at the bottom so doesn't stand upright on its own . The bolt should be set into the base.
