Tastes like soy sauce on crisps
My husband and I have been trying out snacks from all regions of the world. When I went looking for snacks from Ireland, these popped up. Neither of us had heard of them before and we both really like Guinness so we thought we'd give them a go. I admit to not being a big potato chip fan, but crisps or thicker cut chips, I've grown to like as they aren't greasy and have a better flavor than regular chips. Maybe our expectations were too high, but neither of us liked these. I didn't get any type of Guinness flavor. As a matter of fact, we both got more of a soy sauce taste than anything. I definitely liked the thickness and there was no greasiness but I wouldn't buy this again. Since we willingly paid $7.99 for a 5.3 ounce bag, it was a bit disappointing but that's the way it goes when you decide to try something new. It won't deter us from continuing on our snack journey though.

These are the most amazing chips! But too expensive
I never heard of these until recently. Once I tried them I instantly fell in love! They are probably my favorite chip now! The flavor is so unique and tastes amazing. I have since ordered more. My only thing is that they are expensive for such a small bag. I bought mine for $5.99 and now they raised it to 7.99. There is a cut off point on how much I’m willing to spend on a bag of chips and 8$ is way too much. I thought 6 was a little much. 4.99 maybe is more reasonable, considering you can buy family size bags of typically for under 5...If the price was more reasonable I’d probably consistently buy. Overall they are great! Worth a try.

Too Hard, Too Thick
My favorite potato chip was discontinued (RIP, Husman!), which led me to try as many others as possible. These chips are really flavorful. The thickness combined with a hardness keeps these chips from being exceptional. I haven't found my Husman replacement, but these will do win.

Soy Sauce flavored chips
What can i say, other than what everybody had been saying. Gave myself the benefit of the doubt and to my expectations and disappointment, they just like soy sauce. Nothing anywhere closely tasting like Guinness stout.

Absolutely Fabulous!
Burt's Guinness Original Thick Cut Potato Chips, 5.3 Ounce Let me start by saying that I am a potato chip/snack food connoisseur. I can't get enough of them, so I know the good stuff from the mediocre. These Guinness potato chips were the BEST chips I've eaten in a long long time. Remember when you were a kid and you ate something good and started dancing? These will have you doing just that They're of the kettle cooked variety (which I love) and tasted like they had a hint of soy sauce on them. I assume that was the cocoa I was tasting. I never heard of cocoa as an ingredient in chips, but it was unbelievable. The other ingredients complimented each nicely and they weren't too salty, either. Next time, I'll definitely be ordering the entire case.

Very good
Wouldn't replace my everyday chips, but very distinctive for flavored chips. Probably helps if you like Guinness stout, but the flavoring is suggestive of but not identical to the namesake product. Good on its own.

So good, they’re GONE!!
Excellent flavor!! Only one problem with them... they’re re GONE already!! Need to replenish the supply. Ordered 6 bags to give out as St Patrick’s Day gifts. I don’t dare open the other 5, so an immediate reorder is planned.

So Yummy!
Love love these! I am not really a chip person, but I thought I would give them a try and now I'm hooked! Arrived quickly and disappeared just as quickly :)Update: Just wanted to say that I was just in Ireland, and saw these in Dublin and Blarney Woolen Mills and believe it or not this price is cheaper! I was very surprised!
