Duane Allman Guitar Anthology (Guitar Recorded Versions) Paperback – December 1, 2009

To play like Duane.... I bought this in conjunction with another Duane style book and between the two I hope to become the most famous slide guitarist of all time (LOL). Seriously though, taking it for what it is I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was suprised with the physical quaility of the product but also with the sound quality of the headphones. They are surprising bassy but they also tune well with my iPhone EQ setting.

I have only worked with the transcriptions that have slide in them, but they seem solid enough.I have the kindle version, which I can not recommend. The music and tablature is too small to read comfortably, and some parts are illegible due to this. Save your eyes and get the hard copy!

Duane Allmam was the reason I picked up a guitar 45 years ago. This book is excellent. I already had a lot of these songs but this version has parts that were missing from other versions of the songs plus songs I've never seen transcribed before. Very impressed.

I just received this in the mail and wanted to post a picture with the songlist and to show how thick it is. There are multiple guitar parts tabbed.

The content may be excellent, however, if you buy this for Kindle it is unreadable. The tablature is so small it cannot be seen. There my be no guitar books in kindle version that are worth the purchase. I have now tried several and none can be seen. Wait a while and maybe Amazon will fix the issues. I'm writing this in hopes Amazon will listen.

If you are looking at this you probably know what a stunning player Duane was. The transcriptions here are all highly accurate and well laid out. A fantastic study for anyone wanting to improve their slide playing. The best of the guitar books about the Allman Brothers.

なかなかないアーティストのスコアなので即買いしました。内容は一般的です。
