After years of living a lie with "bounce proof" tips, I did the math (by recording bounce outs from normal darts and both bounce proof types) and realize they don't work. I replaced them with these and bingo! Perfect darts. The bounce proof points are loose and feel like the dart is coming apart while I am throwing. This screws up concentration quite a bit. I put these in and everything is smooth again. They bury themselves quite deep, too, when kept sharp.

The black tipped ones: 2 of the three I could not even thread into my 2ba darts. Poor quality threads. The brass thread silver tips are dull and get no penetration with my throw. The other ones were ok once I sharpened them a lot. All in all not worth my money.

These are okay. The tips are thick. I needed to thin them out or they would leave a visible hole in the board. I taped the threads with painters tape and place the threads lightly in a drill chuck and used sand paper while the tip slowly turned to the size I thought was correct.

The service was excellant and they arrived within days. They look great. I was purchasing tips to put on my darts from the 90's and convert them from nylon to steel. Back when I purchased my darts they were supposed to be convertible. Key word "supposed to be". The threads were too small for my set. The threaded end of the nylon tips are much larger. So sadly I was not able to use them. The real problem is my darts not these tips.

For $7, I don’t expect the best quality product. However, I didn’t even receive the correct product. As you can see in the picture, I received 4 tips of one kind, 4 of another, 2 of another, and 2 of another. What am I supposed to do with 2 darts that aren’t like the others? $7, for me, is not worth the hassle of returning the product for this issue, and the tips I did receive do work as promised.

I purchased these assuming they were a standard 1/4" thread for replacing my soft tips. They are not. So they will not fit my darts. No thread specs in the listing, I just assumed, so partially my mistake I guess.

Got the sweet tips for my soft tip darts. Black and silver / All silver / Silver and brass. Work GR8
