It's very nice silk and made well. Originally I just wanted it to keep my long hair out of my way while sleeping and this does that very well. I found with constant use that my hair is so much softer, smooth, and compared to before I started using it very few tangles or snarls when I wake. My hair just seems nicer now. They say silk is good for your hair and skin and I'm a believer now.

I read the reviews which said that it was too small, but I thought I’d be safe with the largest size. I wasn’t. Either way this is way too small for those of us with natural hair. Also, I recommend getting something you don’t have to tie since your hair can get caught up in the ribbon. It feels like silk and looks like silk though so that might be the only plus.So the seller updated the sizing of their bonnets. Honestly they get 5 stars because of their customer service which was amazing. They really took our concerns into consideration and their product really is real silk so I am happy.

Why is the silk on the outside and the inside is rougher? I guess whoever makes it doesn’t realize the whole point is to have the silk next to your hair to prevent pulling. Nicely designed cap except for the major flaw. Sending it back.

I bought this bonnet to keep my fine hair from breaking in the night. This bonnet was definitely one of the cuter ones I considered and nice and soft. But no matter how tightly and snuggly it’s tied, it simply doesn’t stay on for me through the night. I’m a stomach, side, and back sleeper so I move around quite a bit at night. I can imagine the bonnet might work for someone who doesn’t move around much at night. Also my small baby hairs fall out of the bonnet at the base of my neck and still break off at night.

Even though it advertised big enough to fit long hair, it would literally not fit over my head while covering all my hair, especially if I had tried to put my hair in any kind of ponytail or bun.

After a week of every-night use all the stitching is still intact. My hair is very slippery and this is the first cap that has stayed on my head all night. Turbans just aren't up to the job. During the night my hair stays out of my eyes and doesn't try to strangle me. I thought wearing the bonnet might make me feel too warm, but it's nice and cool and my hair is definitely smoother in the morning.

Glad I did a trial run on not styled hair and didn't have plans tomorrow. I made my hair way frizzier just trying to get it on and get all my hair in. My hair is touching the top of my shoulders and I don't think I have a larger than normal head, I feel like it's just too small. Once I managed to get it on it feels fine, and maybe it's just user error, but right now, I'm not a huge fan. Will update if I find out I'm just stupid.

I had read the mixed reviews and hesitated with purchasing this. My purchase arrived promptly, nicely packaged and had no odor. I hand washed and line dried it before use with no issues. I have a chin length bob and I wear it nightly. I sometimes use bobby pins to secure side pieces of hair before I put it on. Yet, I had no issues with size nor it falling off. In fact, I used one of my fave Kerastase overnight correction serums with the cap in place and when removing the cap the next morning not only had my hair stayed in place but it didnt have random knots/tangles from my movement in sleep and was super shiny. So, now, I use the silk cap along with my serum nightly. It does require regular hand washing just bc of the oil and product buildup from my hair (i.e. on evenings when I dont wash my hair since I don't like to overwash and dry out my hair).
