Gorgeous to look at
Update: two years later and it’s just as fantastic as the day it was installed. No leaks, no scratches, still buffed and shiny. Highly recommend.I will update this once I’m able to use the pot filler as the kitchen is still under renovation but I have to say the weight, the feel and the look of this pot filler is second to none. It wasn’t cheap but you definitely get what you pay for and if you want a nice feature like this, choose Delta because the quality and workmanship is there. It’s beautiful and it’s going to be an awesome feature in my brand new kitchen.

Firehose flow rate
Installation:Installation was simple amd straightforward. I'm doing a kitchen remodel so the only really tough part would be if you didn't have a line plumbed already. But I installed pex with 90deg drop ear...mounted at a height that would clear any huge pot...then used a 2" brass nipple extension (you can het them in varying lengths. I had to purchase longer (3") #8 head screws to mount brass plate that came with faucet. Used teflon tape and pipe dope...screwed on but didn't overtighten and used locknut to place faucet in vertical position. Note: recommend getting the locknut a couple of threads onto the brass plate...it was a pain once the brass plate is in place. Also ...remove the aerator prior to flushing with water.Function:This thing is very heavy and solidly built. It extends easily and the stainless finish matched my Kraus hardware elsewhere in the kitchen. People often wonder "why do you need that?" ...well, the waterflow is massive, firehose like, so it's easy to fill a pot very quickly with minimal splashing. It's way more flow than a typical sink faucet. For that reason alone it's a winner and I'm not sure why more sites don't mention this fact. It of course removes at least one heavy lifting task as well....all depends on how much water you boil off. My wife questioned me spending the extra in our reno but she's been convinced now. For those who suggest a hot water line...I set it up to do this but then changed it after reading about why not to do that...just google it. You're not saving a whole lot of time using hot water source. Not much else to say other than if you do a kitchen reno, this is a must have. I will add that my wife has medical issues so picking up pots from sink to stove and making sure nothing flys out is no longer an issue. It at least saves one trip.If you're wondering why there are two valves, it helps prevent drips.
