Great Product But They Do Shrink In Cold Water Wash - No Drier
This is an excellent product but I highly suggest that you order a larger size if your dog measures to the higher side size of the rope you might be ordering. I have three of these, from the past, my dogs are 16 inch necks. I got the ropes for that size range. I washed them in cold water and laid them out to dry and they shrunk in the wash. They are too small for my dogs, after doing this. I have now ordered and received one with starting at 18 inch neck so that I can wash them as they do get filthy and need to be washed. Also, it appears when ordering these, you may not get what you see in the photo. The one I just received has black sliders that stick out bigger than the silver sliders and the rope color is not exactly the same as this photo. I do happen to like the black sliders and rope color better but I want to order two more and I am hesitant because I do want all to look the same and I am hoping I would get two more with the black sliders and not the silver sliders. They are made a bit differently and I think the black sliders are better made than the silver sliders, which the ones I did get in past and am replacing due to shrinkage do have the sliver sliders.

Great Lightweight Collar
I originally reviewed this saying it was a great collar & I loved it, except that I have to tighten it up every couple of the days. The problem is IF my dog were ever to get lost, I would want his tags on him, especially if I'm not around to make sure they are! Well, wasn't I surprised to hear from the company right away apologizing & making good on the collar! So, if I could give a 4.5 I would because that meant a lot. When my replacement collar comes, if it is more secure I will up my review to a 5. I thought excellent customer service was a lost art; so glad I was wrong!

Perfect for medium-haired or long-haired dogs
We used a typical collar on our medium-haired German shepherd for years, and it left an indention on its fur. This collar will prevent this and help save the fur. I wish we purchased this earlier. This collar easily slips over the dog's head, and the length can be adjusted easily with the sliders.NOTE: This collar is not to be used for walking or training. It should only be used to hold the ID tags.PROS:- Helps save fur on medium-haired or long-haired dog- Looks cool- Size is easily adjustableCONS:- These sizes tend to run small. Our dog has a 18" neck. The medium size says it fits a 14" to 20" neck size, but it was way too tight on our dog. The large size fits perfectly.

Good quality
Very nice! It’s lightweight and dainty, and my black lab Aussie mix looks very good in it.It’s definitely just intended for her name tag and information, I would not suggest trying to use this for anything more.

Perfect for my girl!
House collars are very difficult to find and this one is great. It doesn't grab her hair and I have the security knowing that her tags are always on her.

Great product, but not good for a destructive dog
I really wanted a collar that was just for ID tabs, and that was thin enough not to mat the hair on my Kai Ken. This looked perfect! And it is nicely made, and probably would be a five star rating from me if I had a different dog. But on my young dog, it lasted less than a week. I don't know how he manages to get to his collars to chew, but he does, and he chewed through this one in record time.If your dog is not a chewer, though, this probably would do everything I wanted it to do.Oh well. At least it wasn't expensive!

Nice, easy to adjust, and looks good on the dog.
This is a neat, one-of-a-kind rolled rope collar for your dog. I own a show-quality Japanese Akita pup that is currently less than a year old. He has a lot of fur that can get easily matted if kept with a flat collar around his neck for too long. At the recommendation of a colleague who owns one of this rope collars, I tried it out, and the collar works really well. It has been the primary ID tag collar for my dog for about three months now. I use it to keep the dog's ID tags on and use a separate leather collar for our walks. This rope collar is easily adjustable, hides well (on a thick fur dog), and the dog does not notice it. The only problem I have is that it only comes in red. If there were more color options, it'd be aesthetically perfect. Functionally, it does its job well, and that's what is most important.

Holds dog tags great!
I feel so good having this light weight dog tag holder. Don't like having traditional collars on her fur. Great investment. Need more colors!
