Nenu Spoon & Fork Set (Color: Blue Sky)

I bought these for my niece because I really feel good about Nenu and the safety of their baby products, being made in the USA of medical grade materials. My own baby also has a set of the spoons and they’re great, and the Nenu Bud and Bug are his favorite teethers because he can hold them by himself and they’re the perfect size for babies even just a few months old to chew on. I hope Nenu makes more teethers and things because we will definitely buy them.

My kid absolutely loves the spoon and fork set. It's easy to hold and the two legs really helps with propping it up. This is very well designed. Also made in the USA!

Loved the shape of the spoon head part, perfect for my son 6 months old

I had very high hopes for this set. However, the spoon got discolored after the first feeding of lukewarm autumn squash (which is orange in color). Specifically, the soft baby blue color of the item turned visibly darker with a hue of yellow. This alarmed me, and I decided to return the product asap. After all, any such discoloration is a sign of some sort of chemical reaction taking place, which in any case is not at all good for a baby product. I contacted the seller - Nenu directly - alerting this company about the obvious defect in their product. In response, I received instructions to return the item WITHOUT a PREPAID return slip and with NO explanation or apology for the defective item.

We bought these at a local store that has now closed so I am ordering two more sets on Amazon because they work so well. The spoon and spork are perfect size for baby hands. Our daughter started baby-led weaning at 6-months where we basically just put whatever we were eating in front of her and she learned to eat with her hands. We started using these for helping her feed on items not suited for hands (e.g., yoghurt). By 12 months old, she is able to hold the little spoon or spork after we put food on and put it in her mouth. As long as the food has a little bit of stick to it, it stays on pretty well. Because the spoon and spork are shallow, it is much easier for her to clear the contents in one attempt (versus the baby spoons made for feeding done by adults). The little feet are helpful at keeping her hand on the stem and not grabbing where the food is with her hand. She absolutely loves these. Of note, we've had the blue ones for 4-6 months now with no sign of discoloration. We wash them in the dishwasher and they look the same as when we bought them. Probably has more to do with how staining the food is. We eat tomato based sauces frequently with no staining.

We ordered this off the Nenu website and not here on Amazon. These spoons and forks are just the best for many reasons. We've had them since our son was 4.5 months old (he was an early eater). At that time, he spent a lot of time jabbing his palate with the baby spoons, but not these. Because they aren't as concave, he never hurt himself with them. He was also able to grab the spoon and feed himself more easily. Even the nannies we had would comment on how much they liked these spoons. Additionally, they are non-toxic and totally food grade silicone, made in the U.S. Since he chomps on them, it's nice to know he is also not absorbing a bunch of toxins from some factories in an unregulated environment like China has today. Now that our son is almost 11 months old, we can put some food on the spork and rest it on his high chair and he can pick it up and feed himself. These are the only spoons and forks we use for him now. The photo I'm attaching to this is from when he was 5 months old.

I love that they are made in the USA and that they are free of phthalate, latex, vinyl, BPA. They are uniquely made to not sit directly on the table, easy to hold and soft for my granddaughter. The teether's are excellent as well. Easy for babies to hold. LOVE LOVE LOVE them
