Inexpensive replacement
Easy to install, as per directions I had to run a couple of gallons on water, before it started working properly.

Not top quaility but for the price good enough.
Didn't seen to be built as well as the name brand. This seams were not tight and it rattled. Installed with not problems, water taste good and no leaks - good so far.

Caveat Emptor folks,,, Caveat Emptor...
Okay so I don’t do a lot of reviews. But I want to do the right hung by this platform as I read others reviews to make my decisions on what items to purchase.This was described as a replacement for whirlpool filter #4396508.This is too long to fit correctly in my whirlpool conquest fridge resulting in the slide on handle that locks in place as a secondary way to secure the filter not being able to even come close to thread in place and lock.I’m not even going to bother returning this filter as it’s just not worth my time and effort to do so.Instead I’m going to order a different filter that I know will fit.Caveat Emptor folks,,,, Caveat Emptor.....

Works with my Whirlpool fridge, but not sure it filters much.
This filter worked with side by side Whirlpool fridge, but I'm not so sure it's filtering much. I used my zero water tester and compared the filtered water from my fridge to regular tap water and the dissolved solids registered the same, so I'm not so sure it's filtering much out of the water.

Easily installed in my Thermador fridge...fit perfectly...needed about a gallon of water out of the dispenser to get clear water. filter..no problems...eliminates the sulfur taste in Florida water...good value as all filters seem to be made in China now...including Whirlpool filters.
