Tips to avoid problems. Cradle cap solution
Obviously I'll explain my experience with this product, but I wanted to give a few tips that might help you avoid some of the problems other reviewers had. (you can use these methods for any other shampoo/bodywash you want to try)- keep in mind that even a good all natural shampoo or body wash is not for everyone because our skin and hair can be very different from someone that is even in our own family. Didn't work for someone else's baby? Could still work for yours and visa versa.- skin sensitivity: obviously, baby skin is more sensitive than your skin, but some babies are more sensitive than others. If this is the case, your family has a history of allergies or skin reactions, or you are just concerned, spot test it before using it for a whole bath. Take a small amount of soap and wash a very small section of your baby, rinse thoroughly and wait at least 24hrs. If they have a skin reaction in that spot, you know that this is not the baby shampoo for you.- you don't need a whole lot: my baby has allot of hair for a newborn and I only use about 1/4 of a pump for her hair. Washing her body probably takes a total of one pump, but I do it a little at a time because sometimes when washing the washcloth goes under the water and the soap rinses off. Using too much can make it harder to rinse off which can cause skin irritation and it is a waist of soap.- drying out the skin: it could be the shampoo because everyone's skin is different, however, consider the possibility that you might be bathing your baby too frequently. Most babies don't need a bath more than once or twice a week. If you like to keep a bath as part of the bedtime routine like I do, try giving just a water bath (no soap) most nights and wash with soap one to three times a week. Apply a good baby lotion as needed. You can also rinse them with fresh water instead of the bath water to make sure you are getting all of the soap off. If you do this for a couple of weeks and you are still having a dry skin problem then this soap may not be for you.- rinse thoroughly: this will help with sensitivity, drying skin, etc.- no tears: this one probably bugs me the most. So many reviews implied they they put the soap undeluted in their own eyes and then complained that it wasn't tear free. Anything that doesn't belong in your eye (your tears, saline, contact solution) will burn. Even clean water can sting some. The idea is that it minimizes discomfort. To avoid problems, don't was your baby's face with soap. Every article and baby book I have read says to only wash a baby's face with a washcloth wet with clean water. This is how the hospital did it for my baby's first bath, and this is how my mom (5 kids) has always done it. Their skin is sensitive and the skin on their face is even more sensitive. Not only will you risk over drying the skin on their face from stripping the oils, but you will probably get undeluted soap in their eyes and mouth because they don't know how to keep them shut yet. When you are rinsing their hair use your hand, a wash cloth, one of those bath hats, or anything else that will work to shield their eyes. What little soap that might get into their eyes will be diluted with the water you are using to rinse. I've done this and what little soap has gotten into my babys eyes hasnt seamed to bother her.- broken pump: I havent had this problem, but you could try contacting the company. I don't know how their customer service is, but if it is any good, they will send you a new pump. If that's not the case, but you still want to use the soap and do so with ease, next time your hand soap container is empty instead of throwing it away, rinse it out well and pour the baby soap into that.My ExperienceI was using a different brand of all natural soap, but my daughter had cradle cap and it was slowly getting worse. It wasn't nearly as bad as some babies have and I didn't think to take before and after pictures. I started using this shampoo and it cleared up in almost 2 weeks (washing about twice a week). Hers wasnt too bad, so it might take longer for others, but it was still nice to have those scalely flakes gone.I love the smell and I haven't had as much of a problem with her skin drying out like I did with the other soap I was using. Ive only used the baby lotion a couple of times whereas with the other soap I was applying it after every bath.It seems like the bottle should last a while. I've been using it for over a month and haven even used 1/4 of the bottle yet because a little goes a long way with this soap. I also like that they have refill packs that are cheaper than a whole new bottle. It also uses less plastic and while I'm not worried about the world ending over this sort of thing, I do believe in not being wasteful.I am planning to use their kids shampoo and body wash when my baby gets older.A couple of weeks ago, I ran out of my body wash and grabbed this soap to use instead until I had a chance to get more. I liked it so I tried it on my hair too. It worked well for me and now I am trying out their adult shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. So I could see this working for an adult with dry, sensitive skin as well.

Perfect for eczema skin
We have used this body wash/shampoo for years on our little girl whom has eczema. It has never dried her out or caused a rash. Leaves her clean. Not much scent to it but that’s good.

Awesome!
My baby has sensitive skin, we can only use huggies and water wipes. I use All free and clear detergent (which is what I use for myself. My baby is almost 9 months old and we just got down to the bottom of the first bottle. It last a while because we use it 3-4 nights a week since birth. The scent is nice but not strong at all (I have scent aversions) and it doesn’t burn her eyes. Purchasing again!

Great Gentle, Natural Soap
This soap is absolutely wonderful, and we've been using it on our toddler for over a year now, since she was an infant. The scent is light and pleasant, and the soap has never bothered her skin. My one complaint is that every time we order it, the pump either does not work or is cracked/chipped, so then it will not work because of that. I'd rather it come with the flip top lid like the bubble bath does since the pump is useless and becomes more plastic waste for the environment, hence the 4 star review.

Delicate on the skin, nice light scent.
I got this product for my son because he has sensitive skin (gets skin rash from other baby washes). This Puracy baby wash works wonderfully! We’ve been using it for about 3 months now, since my son was 5 months old. It’s very delicate on the skin and my baby never got dry skin or any kind of irritation because of it. It has a light and pleasant citrus scent. I would definitely recommend you try this if your child is sensitive to other popular baby wash brands.

This shampoo is Outstanding!!
This shampoo has been this answer to many of my lifelong woes of sensitive skin & scalp!I have tried so many I lost count. These 2 gentlemen who created this beautiful substance, pls do not alter it, as so many previous good product have been made worse before with additives that wreak havoc on human skin, hair & body.Thank you so much for this “liquid gold” for babies & us “old”, for our skins for some of us had become fragile again!

Good baby wash
We are new to the Puracy products line and are still deciding how well they work for us.The detergent seems to work ok. We had been using Biokleen and Seventh Generation sensitive. The last one gave us a skin reaction. We have very sensitive skin along with eczema. Our well water is hard along with a front load washer that uses very little water. And so far the detergent seems ok. Our clothes are soft which is very surprising for hard water. It doesn’t take out stains as well. The shampoo/conditioner has been a favorite so far. We have curly, dry, coarse, thick, low porosity hair and both have worked well. We’ve tried a lot of shampoo/conditioner so very surprised. Our hair is fickle and can stop loving a shampoo out of nowhere so I am crossing my fingers. We do have to wash our hair more often though. Love the scent. The hand soap has been the least favorites. We have sensitive nose and the scent is not a good one for us. The Lavender is a no go. I wished they sold it in the shampoo or body wash scent. The body lotion is among the least favorites. We have used Burt’s Bee sensitive and so far we haven’t found anything that comes closer to it. Neither does this one. Our skin feel dry like an hour after applying it.The dish washing liquid is better than before. The scent has been improve a lot where as before it was horrible. We’re still on the fence on this one. It works but not as good on very greasy stuff unless you wash things more than once. The scent can definitely be improved or changed to a something more like shampoo. The body wash is better than expected. The scent is lovely does not dry our skin. No reactions yet. Same goes for the baby body wash. Our daughter has been using Burt’s Bee baby body wash and this is equally good so far.

Baby Shampoo
Got this to help my baby with cradle cap, seems to have reduced it a little bit and lathered really nicely in her hair. The only downfall was it has almost no lingering clean scent in baby’s hair after bath.
