So Phresh Grey & White Lift-to-Sift Cat Litter Pan X-Large 22.4" L X 16.9" W X 10.6" H

I was skeptical about a sifting litter box, having heard negative things about them, until I bit the bullet and tried it. This one works very well. I wish I had purchased one sooner. I have 3 cats using it and it makes cleaning it a breeze. In less than a minute I have a clean box for them.

I've used this type if sifting litter box for years. By far my favorite way to keep the house clean with cats!

I used to have a sifting litter box years ago for the one cat we had, but found it difficult to lift when filled with litter. I ended up going with a self-cleaning litter box which served us well until we had to say goodbye to our Missy. This was November 1, 2021.Fast forward to now and 6 cats later! It's a long story as to why we have a half-dozen cats, but the auto cleaning litter boxes (we bought two more) just couldn't keep up with them. After three or four days, the smell was awful. Considering how expensive the disposable litter and pans were, I decided to try So Phresh Petco Brand Grey & White Lift-to-Sift Cat Litter Pan (which is very similar to the one we had years ago) and Dr. Elsey's Ultra Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats. I know that clumping litter does well with hiding odors, so we were hopeful! Of course, this meant that we would be more involved with cleaning out litter boxes, but the smell abated quite a bit, helped in large part by ANEW All-Purpose Granules 64 oz. (Value Pack) Cat Odor Eliminator for Litter Boxes, Carpets, Floors, Upholstery & More, which is 100% zeolite granules (literally kills odors!!!). Eco friendly and non-toxic, too!As for So Phresh Petco Brand Grey & White Lift-to-Sift Cat Litter Pan, it works well enough, although snapping the collar on takes a little work (I am getting better at it) and sometimes the pee and poo balls stick to the bottom of the pan, despite filling it four inches deep with litter! We now scrape the bottom of the pan with the scooper before attempting to pour the litter into the sifting part of the unit, but it still leaves areas that we have to clean. It would be a huge improvement if Petco's design team could find a way to make the surface more slick, thus preventing soiled litter from sticking.Also, the sifter's openings are just a bit too big, which allows bits of poo to escape into the second litter box. My husband is going to find a mesh from Home Depot that has smaller holes and tape it to the inside of the sifter in order to capture these bits, while allowing the 'clean' litter to sift through.These are my only complaints, because otherwise So Phresh Petco Brand Grey & White Lift-to-Sift Cat Litter Pan is a great product and well made. In fact, we plan on purchasing at least one or two more.I do recommend this product, but be aware that you will need to scrape the pan before sifting and that the sifter's holes are too big to catch the bits that sometimes happens. I'll update when we've found a remedy to this issue.

We have several cats, including one elderly kitty (16+) with digestive issues. I debated about getting a sifting litter box, since we've tried everything from disposable to self-cleaning. All were "okay" at best. However, we tried this and another sifting cat box, and this Petco "So Phresh" box is the winner. Cleaning the litter takes less than 30 seconds... and it really couldn't be faster or easier. (Side note: I put a trash bag on each of the 2 solid trays -- so when our senior kitty makes a yucky mess in the litter, it's super easy to clean out/sanitize.) The ONLY thing that would make this better is if they had an option to get a hood for the box.If you're on the fence, it's a little pricey but I highly recommend this sifting litter box.

Because the litter box drives me crazy YES this is better.OK so nothing is perfect but if your like me who got sick of scooping litter, bending over and breaking your back or sitting down on the floor or being on your knees and needing knee pads this all is just no fun!I like this one because all i have to do is lift my litter box up and pour my litter into his one and then pour the litter back in the one my cats use daily.I only use this as a cleaning pan/sifter not as the full time box because I have a bigger little box they like better.This is worth buying to use it the way i do (as a cleaning system). Anything is better the scooping for 10 to 15 mins and having your body hurt from those odd positions.Then you wipe out or take outside and spray the system out and it's done. I put back in my garage until the next use. I do it everyday and everything stays nice.I know my cats like it better and Mommy is on top of things!

Pan is fine and I bet it works great with clay litter but the holes are too big for pine pellets and they fall through to the bottom and get stuck in the openings.

Makes changing litter an easy task. Just have to put the pans in the correct order, fill with fresh litter and the rest is up to the cats. The sidewalls are high enough to catch stray litter from scratching and the plastic is easy to clean.

I bought these to replace my aging litter boxes. They're a nice large size, perfect for bigger cats or elderly cats that cannot move well. They're so easy to clean! Just sift and dump! It's quality plastic for long life, and the blue/grey color hides well in my decor. I ordered two at first, and then ordered two more for my 3 cats. My elderly parents don't mind cleaning them!
