Strainer - Fine Stainless Steel Double Mesh Strainer, 9 Inch Diameter!

Purchased this Strainer after reviewing other comments it looked sturdy and was the perfect size for my needs.I received this double mesh strainer from KUKPO packaged well and in a timely manner. After opening the box I was satisfied to find that the strainer to be exactly what the seller advertised on Amazon. It is very sturdy and holds well in your hand plus it looks great and the quality of the double mesh is great.I have included some photos of the Strainer and you can see that it looks and feels great in your hand.My main use was to avoid all of those small foods like Quinoa and rice etc.to drop through the strainer, I don't have to worry about this with this strainer since it keeps everything inside and safe from my drain.I would recommend KUKPO Fine Stainless Steel Double Mesh Strainer for its function, look and great fit in your hands.

This is is why I love this strainer: the size-It can handle small jobs as well as bigger jobs that are too small for the colander; The mesh-small enough for quinoa, etc.; the quality-mesh is not flimsy, nor is it easily bendable, and liquids are drained quickly. overall it's very well made; The way it's made-The handle is long, so hand doesn't get hot liquid on it when stuff is poured into it. There is a loop handle that is so handy when I need to shake the food around a little. I have a small sink that the strainer can rest from side to side on, makes straining hot liquids a lot easier. If you're comparing strainers to buy, this is the one.

I have been looking everywhere for a 9" strainer to replace an old one that had ripped on one side. I found this on Amazon and it is exactly what I wanted. This double-mesh strainer is sturdy and functional. It has a long handle on 1 end and a small handle on the other end. It's big enough to hold an entire box of cooked pasta. I disagree with other reviewers who said the handle isn't sturdy enough, I have had no issue with the handle bending. This strainer is very easy to clean. I recommend this for a variety of kitchen uses.

So far only used once, but am happy with the design, features, and build quality, except as noted below. The mesh is the finest of the 3 strainers I own, which is perfect in my mind. The handles are rivited on and appear to be well supported. This is one of the main reasons I chose this strainer. I have other tools with spot-welded handles that have come loose. Handles are stamped sheet metal, not cast metal like the much more expensive All-Clad handle that the style mimics. My only gripe was that the edges of the handles where they were stamped out of sheet metal were a bit sharp, so I used emery cloth and eased them a bit so they feel better in my hand. So 4 stars because I had to supply the finishing details, and 5 stars after easing the sharp edges!

This strainer is a must have if you enjoy smooth sauces, smooth syrups, etc. I had an overabundance of strawberries this season. So I was canning everything strawberry under the sun! I made everything from strawberry pie filling to strawberry syrup to strawberry/lemonade concentrate. I had other strainers, but they were not able to remove all of the seeds for the syrup and the strawberry/lemonade concentrate. This strainer did the trick with no problems at all. I'll have to admit that it was a bit larger than I expected...but it did say it was 9 inches. It works great over a bowl. I can't wait for grapes to ripen so I can make grape juice to can...and strain with this amazing strainer!

I bought this initially to strain two batches of homemade soy milk at a time. Works great! From the soy milk I make soy yogurt in the instant pot. Once the time is up in the instant pot, I put a couple of commercial size coffee filters in this strainer and pour the yogurt through it to strain out the whey to make the yogurt more like a thick Greek yogurt. This strainer handles the volume and weight of these tasks beautifully. Yesterday, I rinsed quinoa in it and not even a grain fell through. I have been pleasantly surprised by how useful I have found this strainer to be on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend it, and would certainly buy it again!

I bought this to strain my homemade soy yogurt to make it into Greek style after trying a mesh straining bag three times. What a mess the bag was! Hard to put my cultured yogurt in, and a mess to get it out after draining. But with this beautiful strainer, it was easy to pour in the cultured yogurt and scoop out the finished Greek style yogurt with a spoon. I also now have some nice whey if I decide to use that for some recipe.So for homemade yogurt makers, this is the absolute best way to turn your yogurt into Greek style yogurt.I also noticed that I ended up with a bit more Greek style yogurt because less of it was left on the mesh straining bag.

Oh man, I love LOVE this! I am doing a protocol which calls for LOTS of herbal tea. I was using a cheesecloth and let's just say I'm glad I didn't swear in front of the kids. The herbs stuck to the cheesecloth like adhesive. I would try to wash it out, in order to reuse it, to no avail. My old strainer had fairly wide mesh and would only do the job of straining herbs if I used the cheesecloth. So off to Amazon to search for the holy grail of strainers. And I found it! This strainer is double FINE mesh which means it keep about 97% of my herbs from going through. If I strain it a second time then 99.9% of the herbs are caught! This is awesome! The only downside would be if you wanted to squeeze out every last single drop from the herbs (like you would with cheesecloth). Frankly, it's not worth it. AND, this strainer is easy to clean! I let the faucet pour over the bottom of the strainer while it's upside down. I rub my fingers over the bottom and it gets most of my herbs out. I can also use a dish scrub brush and it will get the rest out. Easy peasy. I was a bit skeptical about the price but it is SOOOO worth it! Thanks for saving my sanity!
