If you set it up like in the picture you're be fine
If you set it up like in the picture you're be fine. It droops down when it rains and rain leaks through it! I just set up a support underneath it and tied a string in the middle of the two points to keep it tight. That's the only way I could keep from drooping. It blocks out the sun and looks great on the deck.

might be good if you live where there's no wind or rain
even with a slight drizzle of rain and a very steep angle this sail collects water and sags and drips. the recommended mounting hardware was not adequate and we ended up having to buy heavy duty ratcheting tie downs to install it.because the material has a LOT of give it stretches so ratcheting tie downs allowed it to be tightened without taking it down. the sagging was just too much though. we put it above the door stretched taunt and it would sag down to waist level. so... if you live in a place where there is no wind or rain to stretch the fabric, this might be what you're looking for.
