Glad I spent the money on these clips I have very thick hair and other clips break or will not hold. My hair is long and very thick and these work great. They do not slip, hold in place and hold a lot of hair in place. Love them well worth the money I spent on them as I believe they will last.

I purchased these to replace my drugstore brand clips that are constantly breaking. I have thick, short hair that I pin by the layer for styling each day, and it usually slips. When I received these, I was a little wary of how slim they are, but I shouldn't have been. They're very sturdy. The almost-rubbery, matte finish makes them inherently slip free, and they hold every strand of my thick hair in place until I'm ready to move to the next layer. And they're a steal compared to the drugstore brand that cost just as much for half as many. Buy these now!

I had been seeing similar clips around but I'm glad I found these here. I got triple the clips for what I would pay at a beauty supply. I thought there would be visible rubber pieces but there isn't. However, it doesn't take away from the effectiveness at all. These really are easy to use when your hands are wet. Also, grips hair well; even when slick with conditioner. As a natural, it works well at keeping my roots stretched for wash and go styles. Definitely would recommend it.

They're pretty sturdy, but they snag my hair every single time I use them. I feel like the rubber should have been only on the handle and the bumps on the inside of the clip needed to be smoother. I have to be really careful not to break my hair when using them.

I haven't used them yet, which is why I am giving it 4 stars. But they are very sturdy, well built, not flimsy and have that no slip grip that looks like it will do what its supposed to.

I've only had these clips for about a week, and have only used them 3 times. They work very well for both my daughter and myself. Her natural hair is much thicker than mine. It clips our hair out of the way during styling without disturbing our curl patterns. I really appreciate how it decreases the chance of snagging our hair while keeping large amounts of hair out of the way unlike the conventional claw-like clips. I purchased 2 packs to try them out and we like them so much that I will be purchasing more to replace the other varieties of clips we have.

Really good quality clips! They feel salon-grade! These work well on thick hair. That being said, these are a little stiffer so you may want to break them in a little while before you start clipping your hair, especially if your hair is prone to breakage with hair ties. Also I want to specify that I keep them in the packaging and keep them on the cardboard strip they're clipped on, since they don't come with a carrying case.
