If it lasts its worth it, using it in a covered 10 gallon.
Would like a better low to high indicator on the top knob. That said U just look at the indicator in the glass tube, but U may need a flash light for an unlit tank? May need to turn it so U can see that red indicator. Its off to a good start though. I can only see a C not F scale, so just convert to US measurement system. Works fine, really better than expected, just hope it lasts a long time. Have had many overpriced heaters burn out as fast as cheap ones. Tired of paying big for nothing special- so- trying a lower cost heaters now.

Major defect
I just put this in my tank and turned it on. I waited a few minutes and put my hand in the water to see if there was any change and it shocked me when I touched the water. I immediately unplugged it and took it out. This could have killed any fish don’t buy this.

Bad experience. The heater stopped working within a weeks of use. It was working fine few days.
Bad experience. The heater stopped working within a weeks of use. It was working fine intial days but later is stopped and when checked I was able to see water inside the filter. Not sure if thats the reason the filter is not working. I could have given it 5 stars if it was working fine.

Horrible. Ineffective.
I have it set to the highest temperatre and it still isnt keeping my small tank within the safety zone for my fish. Its supposedly for a much larger tank but it just does not work. Terrible product, truly recommend NOT buying this.

The heater stays on no matter if you turn it all the way down and you can’t see the temperature on it☹️

I didn't realize my fish needed a heater. I was afraid this was too powerful for the smaller tank but he seems happy.

Good economy heater.
The adjustment knob is hard to turn, but they all are.It is pretty accurate.Good choice.

Typical of most heaters it took some tweeking it get the temp right.
It is a great product and does what I wanted it to do.
