Stella & Chewy'sSimply Venison - 25 oz

I've ordered the venison patties in the past and the dogs loved them. My recent order came with a damaged bag, and incredibly old/hard patties - definitely not the typical textures thaty dogs have come to know and love. The worst part is that Amazon has a return policy for this item, and there's no way to get a refund.

Last batch made my dog very sick with diarrhea, it also had extra large bits of bone the dog would crunch then leave his bowl in disgust (he's not a fan of hard foods or treats). After 6 patties over 3 meals from this last bag, he refused any food they touched. No other trouble with venison so far, so not likely an allergy. Could be Amazon's handling as far as freshness, I'm seeing a pattern of pet foods being mishandled by their warehouse teams and having a lot of food waste as a result. Too late to get a refund, $60 down the tube, not worth another try.

I like the ingredients in these, my dog loves, absolutely loves these ! To bad they COST SO MUCH! I cannot afford a small bag For $52.00 a week so not sure I will only buy these once a month you don't get much For $52.00

Just too expensive for my pouch that has an allergy to foods. But doc says this is what he needs. So I get it. He still bites his legs.

Amazing food quality and the dogs are obsessed. If you have picky eaters this food will be a game changer.
