Oud is one of my favorite fragrance profiles - it's woody, spicy and slightly sweet with an exotic Middle Eastern vibe. Therefore, I was super excited to get this oud scented candle. And there's a lot to like here. It comes in a lovely white frosted glass jar with the company logo emblazoned in gilded lettering. Simple and chic. The matte black tube shaped box is luxe-looking and giftable, plus it includes candle care instructions on the back. The candle itself is made from clean burning soy wax and has a decent (if not mind-blowing) burn time of 40 hours. Unfortunately, it smells nothing like my idea of Oud. I'm getting a generic spice scent with a hint of bubble gum. I know that's sounds weird but that's how it's hitting me. A nice candle but not was I was expecting.

The candle has a very clean scent and it comes in a very classy jar. The jar is made with white glass that almost looks frosted. The smell is very nice and not overpowering. The candle comes in a really nice cardboard canister and this would make a nice gift.

Really quite beautiful. Will never date. Beautiful stark white coloring. Smells like an autumn day to me. Clean lines. Giftable item!
