Good for Catfishing.
I have these Fishing Bite Alarm Indicators on all of my catfishing poles. They are easy to set up and use. These alarms only goes off when the line is pulled tight, causing the sensor to move, causing the alarm to sound. The alarm is LOUD and can be heard several 100 feet away. I still get false alarms, but it is greatly reduced compared to using pole bells. About 90% of the time, when these alarms sound, I have a fish on.So far I have yet to replace the batteries in them so they last a really long time, even after accidentally leaving them turned on for more than a week, they still work. When I was checking these out to see how they worked, I still kept the pole bells on. I noticed the pole bells were more sensitive - meaning 2 things. The pole bells would detect the fish strike earlier (allowing you to set the hook sooner) and they also were more erratic to false hits due to waves, wind, etc...One complaint is I wish there was a better design to attach these to the fishing pole as I have lost one while casting out into the water.

Fishing bite alarm
It's so easy to set up and it alerts me as soon as I get a bite. Since I've gotten this alarm I've lost less fish. I would hight recommend this product
