This book needs to come with a CD or cassette for it to be beneficial to those who want to learn the language. Actually, at the start of each unit there are instructions to listen to the cassette.

Cassettes or cds are essential for using this book. Yet they are not provided with the purchase of the book nor is there any indication how they could be ordered as a separate item.Susan

Ordered on Monday pm for grandaughter ,and hoping it would arrive by Friday for her second French lesson ,and I was pleased when it arrived on Wednesday morning ,in good time for her lessons on Friday, the book she was supplied with by the school was not in a good condition ,corners turned down,grubby,writing on most of the pages,so I know she will be delighted with it, personally I think the books are rather expensive,,,,,but when it's for your granddaughters education ,,,,well ,,and it's Aldo freed up a book for a child ,
