Read how I made them comfortable and perfect the noise cancellation!
Ok, first I was quite disappointed - like so many say they were uncomfortable and the noise cancellation wasn't much better than such as Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros. BUT hey I discovered something!!I decided to play with the options. I normally choose Medium sized ear tips - done that for pretty much all my earbuds over the years. So obviously I chose them first on these Sony XM4's. They fit the ear canal perfectly and gave pretty good seal - I thought. But soon I felt them uncomfortable and painful and noise cancellation wasn't much to talk about.I started looking at the Large tips. "No way can those fit in my ear canal?" I thought. But paying Β£200 ish for these I decided to try all options. And then the magic happened..! Perfect passive sound isolation, the ANC blocking pretty much everything, and most important: they are now very comfortable! I can easily take them now for a long haul flight. How is this even possible?!So my answer in my experience is this: the medium ear tips go further in the ear canal where the foam tips pressure too much making them uncomfortable, while still not perfectly passively cancelling noise. The larger ear tips sit mainly on the mouth of the ear canal, not going deep in at all. But still the tip seals the ear perfectly and is... comfortable and with ANC incredible silent. If you struggle try all the ear tips - don't return these masterpieces without a fight! :)I bought the silver ones... love the color. They are NOT silver. More like color of sand and don't stand out as much as the black ones. Well in my opinion. The build quality is really solid and battery life so far more than excellent. The case is also nice and small and fits easily in my jeans pocket.Highly recommended.

WOW Just WOW
I'm not one for writing reviews to be honest but felt compelled to.I've owned quite a few pairs of headphone/Ear Pods over the years and I'm quite fussy when it comes to the one's I purchase. Mostly I stay within the premium level Β£150+.They are a premium product, you can just tell when you open them, touch them and use them. The touch, feel and weight are on point.ProsSound quality is simply brilliant, the best I have ever experienced with an in ear headset. The volume is very punchy and you'll never get to the max. The bass is superb and the mid to high end treble is beautifully balanced with no sign of struggling at all.Build quality is premium and very good quality.Wireless changing is a nice bonus.Setup is a doddle.Sony's apps seem very good and you have great flexibility to change settings such as graphic equaliser, what the earphones do when you take them out, when you start talking the sound will stop as they assume you are talking with someone which is very clever (although slightly annoying if you start sneezing LOL). You can log different settings depending on where you are, home, office, gym etc.Cons - Volume Control - You can change what the touch sensitive buttons on both sides do. Trouble is you really need 3 LOL. Next track, play and pause is a given on one side, then the other side can be noise cancelling or volume and really you want both as there's not easy way to change the noise cancelling without going into the Sony app so you really have to keep that. Which means no volume control on the ear pods which isn't the end of the world as you an control this from your phone or watch.Sony's apps are very good but for some reason they lose connection with the earphones at times. It doesn't stop them from working, just means you can't change settings until you dock the earphone again. The Fit - I'm yet to test them out when at the gym doing strength training but hopeful they will stay in place. But when stationary or walking they are fine. They fit by a memory foam type ear plug which you push in, it compresses and then expands to secure the fit. You get 3 sizes so you should find the one which works for you. Issues I've had in the past with others, they tend to lose their seal or you can 't get the fit just right so the sound quality changes if the fit is not 100%. There is none of that here.
