Does it fit?Yes, if you know which key you own, buy the same casing. It’s obviously that people do not read. Just because it is a low budget case, does not mean you do not do a little research and make sure you are buying the correct case.Did it come with instructions?Why would you need instructions? If you own a BMW, I’m going to assume you have an education. It’s literally straight forward. It came with 2 additions screws. You sandwich your key fob in between 3 items. A plastic that covers your buttons, a top metal cover and a bottom metal cover.What is the material?Metal with 4 screws. It even comes with a screw driver. Don’t need to whip out the tool box.How long did it take to install?5 mins. I took longer time writing this, than installing my key.IssueOne issue. You cannot access your physical hidden key, since it is screwed together. In order for you to access your key battery, or physical key, you will need to take it apart.HOWEVER, In the 10 plus years that I have driven, I have never used my physical key. I changed my key battery twice. So you will be okay.Does it change the size of your key?Yes. It’s gives it an aggressive look. I love it. But it does increase the size. So if you aren’t looking for something to make it increasingly larger, this isn’t for you. If that don’t matter, this is perfectly fine. A little heavier now. But you own a bmw, you will live.Did it scratch my key when I installed it?No, only if you have very little skills in using a screw. You need to press down the casing as you screw in the tiny screws. Yes, it will take time. It’s made to be tight so that your key isn’t loose inside the case.Are the buttons accessible within the key?Yes. But if you own the x7, remote start car, or a keyless system to unlock your car, you barely press down on your key. But the buttons works well. Not as smooth as it would be without a case but it works.Is it worth the price?Absolutely. Even if it only last a year, for about $20-$30 for a case this nice, and this well built, I’m not complaining.Will the material get scratched?This is absolute. Any thing that goes into your pocket, your bag, your table etc that is made from metal, it will scratch. Your iPad case gets beat up. Why wouldn’t this will? And guess what, it’s okay! Haha we will be okay!

I really like this key cover. It makes the keys looks so prestigious. It definitely adds so e weight to your pockets. The only problem is you lose the ability to use the actual key if need in emergency situations. Because you have to screw on the protective cover. Just dont let your car battery die and you will be find. I brought 4 covers 2 for each vehicle. Fits perfect too. Just becareful with the screws because they are tiny and eazy to loose. Best way, is to magnify the supplied screwdriver with a magnet by scrapping the screwdriver with the magnet. That works the best. You shouldnt lose any screws this way

I was initially drawn to the Phmnkl Alloy Car Key Case for my BMW 740 due to its promising description and high rating. However, upon receiving the product, it quickly became evident that it was not as advertised. Here are my main grievances:Material Quality: The case is supposed to mimic a carbon fiber appearance but falls flat. Instead, it looks like a cheap, poorly plated imitation. It doesn't feel premium or durable as one would expect from a product priced at $28.99.Fit and Compatibility: The case is advertised for a wide range of BMW series, but it didn't fit my BMW 740 key. The screws provided were also a mismatch, making the assembly a frustrating endeavor.Potential Damage: I was concerned that forcing my key into this ill-fitting case might damage the fob. The risk of damaging a high-value item like a car key is not worth the purported protection this case offers.Value for Money: Given the material quality and fit issues, the price is unjustifiable. There are certainly better alternatives available that offer a proper fit and better aesthetics without being overly expensive.Misleading Information: The product description paints a picture of a high-quality, trendy, and protective key case, which significantly deviates from the reality. The “360-degree protection” claim seems hollow when the case doesn't fit the key properly.

Solid craftsmanship works well with my key. Only took me a minute to put together. Be careful as the screws are really small. You drop on its fir sure to get lost. Good thing additional screws are included.

This key cover is really cool, and the quality appears to be pretty decent too.The weight however, is a little much and my biggest complaint.Overall 4/5 - Looks cool, and feels nice.

Will definitely protect and looks great. On the other hand it big and bulky.

If you're using Amazon's filter to see if this will fit an i4, it is NOT accurate. Ordered the key fob because Amazon said that it is compatible with the key fob, but it isn't. The i4 key fob is a slightly different shape/size than regular BMW key fobs, and it's a bit too big for the cover. The cover itself looks and feels great, but it just doesn't fit, so I had to return it. Just a heads up!

A little hard to put together because there are no instructions but once it was all together, WOW! Soo freaking dope! The quality is amazing, heavy duty and looks really expensive!

Excelente producto, fácil de instalar, la llave se ve super cool, excelente material, muy contento con la compra, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Sehr schönes hochwertiges Schlüssel Gehäuse (hardcase). Macht es sehr elegant. Es ist zwar schwer zusammen mit dem Schlüssel. Aber es stört nicht, da der Schlüssel nirgends eingesteckt werden muss. Alle Knöpfe können bedient werden.

Fits like a glove, easy to install and looks awesome!
