Good packing, exactly what I hoped to get.
The package came in a box that is easy storage for me. I am in middle of a rebuild of my track, and this is exactly what I wanted. The box allows you to have one end open for easy access while staying closed. If I ever need another box I would reorder.

Everything they say about this product in their marketing is true...
I am a first-time user of this product (and I'm essentially a newbie at N scale model railroading...). And it *is* incredibly easy to use. The 36" lengths are ideal for my layout and cutting pieces for turns and such was a no-sweat operation. For a while I ran half my layout using this product and the other half without to see if I noticed a significant noise reduction...and I'm happy to say I certainly did. But there was still enough click-a-dee-clack to satisfy my 'realism' needs...lol. And, yes, this stuff certainly adds a cool ballast look to the surrounding layout material. The cork material is firm and not crumbly at all. The bevel on the edges is nicely done...again, looks pretty 'real'. The thickness and width is *very* consistent along each 36" piece. Easy to cut and manipulate. Highly recommended.

25 At Two Pair Makes A Great Deal!
Just got this today and after looking at it it should be know. If you are using N scale there is 25 pair and there is a cut down the middle per 30in so the reality is that you get 50 30in peaces and so this makes this a great deal. Also when they come shipped to you, like a few others have said, the come shipped in another box and then they put paper in side that box to keep the bedding nice and straight and damage free. I laid some down after getting it on some N scale track and it looks very nice! You should get this if you are a N scalier.

Like all road beds
Like all road beds, it is not perfectly produced to scale. However, I will trim it to what I believe is more realistic. It is 1 1/16 inch wide. Should be 7/8 inch wide. Real roadbeds around here are about 11 feet wide, which in N scale is close to 7/8 inch. If your not so picky, then it is just perfect.

It was exactly like I expected
It was exactly like I expected. Be aware that one side will have a nice bevel and one side will be more vertical after you separate it. I put the more vertical edge towards the wall.

Cork roadbed, not manufactured right
It is supposed to be a angle cut in the middle so when you separate the halfs you put the straight sides together you get what looks like a taper or a angle on the outside looking a little bit like pre ballast roadbed, this stuff comes out with one side being angled and the other side mangled, have to hand cut the angle to get it to match, could have bought cork sheet and saved a bunch of money cutting my own.
