Third type of tank cleaner I have tried. First two battery ones from other companies were rubbish. This is great. Even in a small 10 gallon tank it works great (just fix a plastic water bottle under the bag to limit splashing). The bag by the way is amazing and traps all sorts of nasty gunk. Bags from other products were rubbish.I had a slight problem with the hose and the customer service from Connie and team was off the charts. Best I have received.This pump is working great after several goes. Although I did kill a fish by forgetting the inlet cap (my bad) but proves the power of the unit and stupidity of my fish.Will def buy products from this place again.

First I shall get, for me the only 2 negative points out of the way.The first is the recycling water bag. When this is attached, the water that is sucked up goes into a filter bag which is up by the handle. This allows the water to cascade back into the tank. Wrong.Unless the filter bag is held directly over the tank it would flow out. Wetting hands and nodoubt the area where the unit is connected to the transformer supply. FOR THE MANUFACTURER, I WOULD SUGGEST A HOSE AND HAVE THE FILTER BAG IN THE TANK.The second moan is the rubber scrapper. Whenever I have used it to remove Algae from the sides of the tank the rubber strip comes out of the hard plastic case.The good points, from my point of view.Arrived quickly. Very easy to use (apart from what is mentioned above). The ability to adjust the flow rate for removing water or cleaning the tank and gravel. Packs away quickly.I only have a 30 litre tank so nothing requiring a great deal of attention but the unit makes it very quick to clean.Value for money? I'm not complaining. Made it very easy to keep the tank looking good. Even the fish look happy😆

Good bit of kit the only down fall is you only get one filter bag

Looked at the video and it seemed so easy to use. Struggled to put the nets on the gravel cleaner. When I managed to put it on it just kept coming off mid stream so water went all over the place. Very disappointed in this product. I thought it was going to make cleaning my Aquarium easier to clean 😥

I was attracted with a reasonable price for the cleaner. I followed the instructions, but the cleaner (motor) did not start. Not sure why it says that it has to be under the water to work... after opening and removing it from the plastic case motor worked outside the tank. Put it back together placed it again in the tank and with a push of screwdriver, the motor started to work. I think rotating 'blades' were somehow stuck. Anyways the suction is weak. I did run it for 20-30 mins and collected some dirt into the bag, but honestly a waste of time. Gave a wash to the bag and straight away could see the bag is following apart (stitches loosening) just after one use. I would not recommend it.

My only complaint is that once set up its a bit tall for my tank when gravel cleaning it could do with being a few inches shorter. But that is our tank and not the product. Thus is a great piece of kit, it does a great job cleaning out the build up in the gravel. I love the fact you can adjust the power and can filter the water straight back into the tank whilst cleaning. The filter bag works well and is easily cleaned after use. This is definitely one product indont regret buying!

I have been using this gravel cleaner for 7 months and overall I am VERY happy and would deffo buy again if I need to.I am using in a relatively large tank (350 L) with Discus fish and with a bare bottom. Obviously I can't comment on the use with gravel, but certainly does the job in removing the detritus created by my Discus (and boy do they create some mess).The motor is powerful and output is variable. The suction tube is extendable in length and once set you don't really need to change it. The filter bag is still going strong despite daily washing.Only negative, if you can call it such, is that because the filter is up by the handle you have to be careful that you hold the unit as vertical as possible or at least make sure the filter bag is kept inside the edges of the tank, otherwise you need to keep a mop handy!Took me a little while to find the best way to use but now no problems at all and very happy :).There are absolutely no major issues with this unit, just not really suitable for a small tank, probably minimum 100l or if smaller then perhaps go for a smaller syphon unit.

I have had two superfish gravel cleaners similar to this and both have broken down which is a shame as they do the job very well, though I would try some other noname which was a waste of time then I tried this one and wow it works, my first thought was here we go again it going to be a waste of time but I was wrong, it is main's powered with an easy on/off switch so no more wasting batteries, you can adjust the suction power which is great and makes things a bit quicker having more power and don't even need full power as it too strong, the waste bag it comes with is quality and there is a filter inside the gravel cleaner before the motor so I do not have to worry about sucking up any fish, having the waste bag above the water I was a bit worried but so far not a problem, so far very good very promising would recommend
