All you need for stills; why pay more!?
Day one [but I can come back w/ updates][I just take stills][I plan to use this w/ my Nikon D810, verticle grip and our lenses...mostly the Nikon holy trinity.]Height: Plenty for me: w/ my Manfrotto 327rc2 and verticle grip the maximum height is about two inches too tall (I'm 6' 0.5") so I used a pencil to mark the tubes for the height I want.Strength: This is one reason I picked this monopod. I believe it can handle what it claims (33lbs).Looks: How superficial are we? Yeah, it looks nice.Ease of use: Come-on it's a monopod.Features: strap, belt clip, two feet, choice of top threads...what else do you need?Price: I could see spending money on the feet for video, but otherwise I see no reason to spend more on anything else (OK maybe if you own a $10,000 lens, if that's the case you already know better than I do what monopod you need).

Seems pretty sturdy, but is a bit of a pain to get the camera on and off the monopod. Maybe this is a monopod thing, but I wish it had a plate like a traditional tripod.
