Great under desk elliptical
I love it!Great way to get extra movement in my day while sitting in front of my computer. I had bought a under-desk bike and my knees hit the desk constantly. I am 5'6 and have approx 4 inches of clearance at the top. The bottom of my desk is 27.5 inches off the floor. Your chair height plays a roll obviously, but the elliptical movement is more out in front of you versus up and down like the bikes. I think this would work for most people. It is pretty heavy so once you find its spot you will likely keep it there. I work on low pile carpet so it doesn't slide around. I don't have any issues with my chair sliding away so can't speak to the chair stop that came with this. The display isn't backlit so it can be hard to see, I use a small flashlight to read my results at the end of the day. I work 8 hours and feel like I am on this all day but usually according to the clock get about 3 hours of pedaling. But I usually net about 300 extra calories burned, which isn't a bad thing. It is easy to do and pretty mindless. Although, I do notice I stop when a task takes a little more concentration. I pedal at a 4 right now, I can sometimes feel it in my legs a little, but I am not working up a sweat, which is ideal for the office. I also am not considering this a "workout", I bought this avoid being so stagnant all day and just keep the blood pumping.I don't know that you could get a really good workout from this, I think this is best for someone looking for movement and burning more passive calories or for someone who is rehabbing or has some mobility issues.$200 seems pretty high but so far (had it about 2 weeks) I really think it is worth it because it actually fits under the desk and keeps me moving and is super quiet (so far) and smooth. Sitting for 8 hours a day, every day can increase your risk of obesity, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, unhealthy cholesterol levels, and the list goes on. I read sitting is the "new smoking". I find that this is a pretty effortless way to build more activity into my sedentary office job and I think it will be worth it, as long as it holds up.FYI: The elliptical resets at 9999 strides but everything else seems to continue throughout the day. Also, this counts steps. I thought it was odd my mileage was so low thinking it was like a bike. I had to do some digging but 2 strides = 1 step and it takes 5200 steps for a mile. With that info all my numbers added up. I wonder about the calories burned. I read somewhere that these generic counters are generally 25-30% higher than the actual calories burned so I always take 25% off my calories burned.

So easy to use
This desk cycle is quiet, easy to use, and easy to move around. There are different tension levels, and I like that there are no straps to fit into. This cycle really exercises and flexes your ankles, which is what my husband needed. It's sturdy, well built, and doesn't creep away as you use it. Definitely recommended.

Easy, Easy, Easy
I am not fond of 'some assembly required' but must say putting together this Cubii Jr2 was super easy. There is the main body of the device, a left and right pedal (which were clearly labeled) and 4 screws. The pedals pop into place. I am not sure the screws are necessary but did use them - there was a screw driver included.Operation is quiet. You cannot hear it at all unless you turn the tension knob which makes a clicking noise. I can't tell much difference between levels 2-3-4 but put it up to 8 and that WAS a change. So back to 4 for me. The device is heavy enough, and I'm using on carpet so it will not move unless I want it to. I do not have the optional foot straps and my feet seem stable. The biggest concern I had before ordering was wondering if I can truly use it under a desk. I'm 5'5" and sit at a normal work desk which does not have a great deal of space above my knees/below the desk. This works under the desk without issue. My knees do not knock and have room to spare. I did have to move my desk chair up a notch (in height) to find a comfortable pedaling form, but I can still type and pedal at the same time. As I'm doing right now.My intent is to use this some each day to get additional movement into my day. I do not expect to burn a great deal of calories but moving more is better than not.

Great workout
Love my Cubii! Tried simple machine, ugh, nothing like this. Smooth, quiet and easy to use. A bit heavy to move around for a 75 year old but manageable.

Quiet and easy to use
I was debating between a walking pad, bike, and elliptical and I think I made the best choice with this purchase.I am moving all day long as I spend hours at my desk in meetings, etc. People say they cannot hear it at all and with the rubber mat it stays in place and is easy to move when needed.

Gotta get more than one
Don't believe you have to break a sweat or work hard cardio to make a difference. Don't believe that you can't get good workout with this. A good workout is about endurance and better to go slower longer than harder faster. I took this to work and I use it throughout the entire day. Its great because it does not time out and you lose your mins, miles, calories etc. I can go to mtg come back start where I left off. It is VERY quiet. I had it for weeks, no one knew I was using it and Im in cubicle with people on both sides. Use it throughout the day, get I close to three hours total, burn on average 400calories. I set it highest level and I find that easy. I never break a sweat, don't mess up work clothes and it is so easy on the thighs and knees. Heavy to move, not light, advertisement not truthful. Not too heavy but for most females its considered heavy. Take it home after work use it while wathing tv burn another 200 calories. Sore first few days entire upper torso. Uses different muscles then bike so beware. Would recommend this to EVERYONE who wants something they can use for hours and hours and it will improve circulation, condition your legs, and torso, and it can burn more calories if you use it at work throughout the day then workout for 30-45 mins in gym. Excellent for long haul no sweat exercising.

Quiet, easy and mindless
I love my Cubii. Use it all day while I sit at my desk and work. It is easy and completely mindless exercise. I just pedal all day long. Knees do not hit the underside of the desk, so don't worry about that. Quiet as it possibly could be. (Nobody can hear it when I'm on a call.) Good range of resistance, from essentially none to enough that your legs start to feel sore after a bit. You can also pedal smoothly both backwards and forwards. Very much recommend, particularly if you just want to do "something" other than sit idle all day. (And with continued use, I am seeing more definition in my legs and it does not make my knees hurt or anything.)

Excellent Product
I bought this as a refurbished elliptical and it works great! It was easy to assemble and fits well under my desk. There is no issue with me hitting my knees on the bottom of the desk. It get a lot more exercise and movement using this machine while I work. Excellent product for the money!

Terrific way to exercise for people with certain mobility problems
This Cubii was recommended to me by my doctor. I have some mobility problems and am not able to exercise on most gym equipment or even on the floor. In the summer and part of the fall, I am able to use the pool and can do an hour a day as there is no pressure on my joints while I am in the water. But from late Fall until late Spring, I try to walk but once the snow arrives, that is not available to me as I cannot manage hills or any elevations. So my doctor showed me his Cubii which he keeps under his desk and uses while he does his paperwork between patients. I am using it nearly every day. As you must be seated to use a Cubii, I can usually stay on it for at least a half hour, once or twice a day. My legs feel stronger and I am happy to be using up some calories again. The machine was easy to put together. It's lightweight enough for me to pick up and move in front of my chair to use. I have a little book where I mark down my progress each time I use it and try to do just a little more each day. It keeps track of the number of strides, calories and miles, as well as the time I have been on it. I also will be able to change the level of difficulty from 1 - 8 as my health improves. This is great for people with sore joints, like hips or knees as you can adjust it to suit yourself. I also read that people recovering from strokes and heart attacks can begin to recover their strength as they sit in their favourite chair.I'm totally satisfied with my purchase.
