My husband is house-bound and has worn this type of stocking for a few years. This product far exceeds any others. The others are short and narrow. These are longer and much easier to get on. They cling to the foot really well and come out of the washing machine looking the same as new. I hardily recommend these above all others for anyone who is not able to wear shoes. My husband can walk with a walker and these stay in place as he walks Excellent product.

I bought these socks for my dad who has cancer and is now very frail. He has gotten to the point where he often shuffles his feet when walking. He has hardwood floors and was using non skid socks he got while in the hospital. He was always very active and independent and wasnt ready to just sit on his bottom doing nothing so I checked reviews on non skid socks to hopefully help him. He absolutely loves them and they are nowhere near hospital socks. These are very nice. He's a size 10 shoe and they fit great. Really happy I chose these.

I'm 65 and have had both hips and knees replaced. I have cold feet in bed and needed socks that would keep my feet warm AND be safe to walk around in on tile and wood floors. These socks are great. They fit well (I wear 11 2E shoes) and are long enough to go over my PJ leggings to prevent cold ankles. The entire circumference of the sock is non-skid, so you can't put them on wrong, and don't have to worry if they rotate on your foot in bed. They also have a tag where you could write your name, which would be great for institutional use. I also like the gray color.

These slipper-socks are a bit pricey, but they are perfect for around the house wear. We have mostly tile floors and these socks provide a secure foothold that allows me to move confidently around our home. In fact, I am pretty brutal with them, walking through the garage and onto the driveway to retrieve the newspaper and onto the back patio and paver walkway to take out trash/recyclables. The bottoms do get dirty, but they wash up fine and I have yet to put any holes, tears, or rips in the bottoms. I suspect that I may need replacements more often than some people who restrict their use to inside their homes, but the price isn't prohibitively expensive. I'll order again as I have the need.

My Mom is prone to falls and she loves these. They prevent slips but aren't so "grippy" that they catch on carpet (which would paradoxically increase her risk.)We like the red because they are easy to separate from her regular socks when sorting laundry.

Seems like quality material, unfortunately these socks create a tripping hazard as they slide down and off the foot. My husband has nearly fallen so they are hazardous. It states one size fits most. My husband is a size 9 shoe. We will be returning these.

Got these for my elderly father-in-law. The information made them sound perfect because they are latex free, non-stick all the way around, and longer. It also states that one size fits most. I consider my father-in-law slightly smaller than average. These socks were very large on him and slid down to potentially become a tripping hazard. I think they might be good for someone with a larger leg or swelling because they wouldn't cut in like some of these products.

Perfect solution for me when I am in the gym or physical therapy as I have to keep taking off my shoes and this eliminates that issue. They fit well and do not slip in any way. I have not yet washed them so perhaps another review might be in order after several washing to see how they hold up.The one comment I would now add is I wish their would be a more definite heel so their would not be any doubt which is the front or back.
