Thin , you can see thru them when held up to light .
My wife was a surgical RN for 30 years . If a package of the surgical towels was opened and all were not used , either they got thrown out or given to whoever wanted them . I still have about 50 of those towels left . As old as they are they are still much heavier than this towel and when held up to light you cannot see thru them . Are all your towels this thin ? . I will keep them because they are new , and after they are washed they are not 16 x 24 anymore . I do not expect these to last long and will search for a better quality towel . Thank - you Bill Alden

Quality. Great color choices.
I have a few blue surgical towels that I have had for years, and I LOVE them. They are great on windows.I was looking for something to use in my kitchen, and I found these. I bought the yellow because not only do I like the color in my kitchen, but also, I am one of those people who have to use certain things for certain places. Anything that has cleaned the bathroom CAN NOT be EVER used in the kitchen. EVER. So color options are great to prevent cross contamination.QUALITY: The first thing I did when they were delivered was dump these in the wash. Then I dried them on hot because who has time to pamper cleaning towels? They need to be ready for abuse, am I right? Well. They shrunk, as expected. And ended up the same size and density as my long loved original blue surgical towels! YAY!I will be ordering more

Poor quality
I own a cleaning business and have purchased huck towels in the past. These are horrible quality and after several washes they become thin and get holes in them!

Not very heavy weight fabric.
These might be good for the homeowner wiping dry clear glasses but they won't work well for a good window washers daily use. They are very lightweight although they appear to be well made. Not recommended for commercial daily use for detailing windows. Will keep them for my wife to use in the kitchen.

Better (and more environmentally sound) than paper towels.
I'm using these for a lot of things where I would have used a disposable wipe or paper towel in the past. I like them a lot and keep them handy. However, I have two criticisms: 1) They're not really colorfast. I've washed them a few times and the blue pigment is still running a bit. It's not enough to worry about staining clothes, especially if you wash with like colors, but it may limit their usefulness for cleaning windows, etc. 2) Judging by what's in the lint screen when I take them out of the dryer, they're not entirely lint-free, either. But I think they were a good purchase and I'm happy I got them.I like to think that these are more environmentally friendly than disposable wipes and paper towels, but I suppose that really depends on what went into producing them and the energy required to launder them. It's complicated, this green thing.

DEFINITELY NOT Lint-Free
Bought these towels to use for drying and applying oil to my cast iron skillets, but they spread more lint in the pans than oil. So then, I go through the hassle of cleaning their lint out of my pans. Please change the title of this product to "Super Linty Towels" because that's exactly what they are. Does anyone make a truly Lint-Free towel???

Great for car cleaning
Perfect for window cleaning in the car. Only issue is that they give off a great amount of lint when you wash them. It takes about 2 or 3 washes to escape this issue. Remember to wash them separately or you will be picking lint off of clothes for hours.

Disappointing Purchase
Honestly I was disappointed in these towels. I purchased thinking I was getting a nice thick, absorbent huck towel, its made of huck fabric, but its very thin, and can easily be seen through if held up to the light. Huck towels use to be nice absorbent towels, but these things are not. I bought them for my mother, who wanted some for using in her kitchen and for embroidery crafting, but she was disappointed as well. I guess I'll be taking these to my garage, it's about all they are good for ... if that. I'll be ordering towering by the yard next time from a local Amish dry goods store, and make our own, only reason I bought these were for convenience, I guess I should have known better.

The best, as long as your buying for the right reasons.
Here’s the deal. Ignore the reviews of poor quality, thin material, etc. this is the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. If your looking for a utility type cloth/rag for general purpose, shop use, etc then click that mouse and keep on looking. These towels are not that. However I can assure you that these towels are 100% absolutely the BEST towel on the planet for cleaning glass. No if’s, ands, or buts. Windows, car glass, electronics (iPhones, etc), and eye glasses. You will not find a better towel than these. And believe me I’ve bought them all, and tried them all. Pair these towels with meguiars d120 glass cleaner and you will be amazed. It comes in 1 gallon jugs, and is concentrated. You dilute 10:1 so a gallon will likely last you a lifetime.Your welcome

Got lint everywhere
I washed these towels and they absolutely exploded with lint. Maybe I got a bad batch cuz other people seem to think they're low-lint? Not my batch, got lint all over my clothes that I've been picking off for days. I'd be afraid to use this to clean, that it would get lint and dye on my windows.
