Just what I was looking for!
The media could not be loaded. I have used Sett for over a year now after my son was diagnosed with severe skin allergies. I was really nervous of putting 'normal' sun cream on as the doctor notified me of the amount of chemicals it has in it and he thought this might be a contributing factor to the escalation in the rash during the summer. I contacted Sett who kindly gave me full details of the products which I could then do some research on, and I then purchased a pouch which is identical to this product apart from the container it is in (I haven't opened this item yet as it is coming on holiday with us, so want to keep it sealed). I was dubious due to people's reviews stating that it doesn't rub in clear. I wanted to give it a go though as at the very least if it protected my son without causing his rash to be irritated, then I would rather a whiter skin on him than a bigger rash. However, once we applied it, it was fine. As long as we didn't put on more than was needed and rubbed it in fully, it does rub in clear as you can see from my video. I would also recommend dabbing it on in different areas rather than putting it all in your hand first as I found that if too much is applied to a single area then this is harder to rub in as there is simply too much product. I hope this helps put you at ease when buying from Sett as I am so happy with this find as this year, my son's skin was so much better. We now all use it and my husband has very dark tanned white skin, and he has no issues with it either.

No match for Bali
I found this via a guy reviewing surfer friendly sunscreens and had high hopes however thankfully I tested it in and around a hotel pool before getting into the waves as I burnt after 35-40mins in high 20's heat.Maybe my skin type but it didn't rub in particularly well (ghostly white tinge to my face), areas that already had some colour actually fared ok but there also seemed to be some inconsistency in how I burnt so I wonder if the ingredients separate in the tube (ie upper chest burnt day one, top of stomach was ok on day one but burnt on day two, shins burnt day three). The search goes on for a surfer friendly brand that's readily available in the UK...

On Your Marks, Get Sett, Shake! Decent Suncream, Just Make Sure To Shake Before Use
When I first opened this and went to apply some, what came out was a very runny and clear oily liquid. I then read the back of the tube (probably should have done that first), which advises shaking before use. After doing just that and trying again, thankfully a more usual looking and thicker white cream came out.The sun cream smells a bit like new paint crossed with a baby cream, which I know may sound like an odd thing, but it's the closest smell I could think of that describes it. I actually quite like it.It absorbs well into the skin though did leave a slight white residue which faded after a few minutes and a bit more rubbing in.If you are after a mineral sun cream that is reef friendly then this is good, as long as you are OK with that price, which I feel is on the high side.

Shock of my life
I like that it blends on you face skin. But if you have dehydrated one, be careful as this would be lodged on the dry skin. And it has this chalk smell or something that instantly came on when i first opened the tube. See the photo attached. As you can see, there is some oily or slimy like fluid that popped out first and then the sunscreen. Feeling skeptical. This is when i had opened the package. Will return with the next review with continuous usage.

Love the smell and that it’s good with nature!
Excellent sun protection and lovely cucumber/melon smell. It does leave a tiny bit of a white cast but hey, It’s for the coral reefs!

Does not provide protection from sunburn
This product is ineffective. It provides almost zero sunscreen protection.I have olive skin and usually use F15 sun protection from a variety of household brands which have always provided excellent protection. SETT SPF 30 did not protect my skin within 30 minutes I had burnt which has never happened to me before. As I dive I chose this product because it claims to be "reef safe". It is deeply disappointing that this sun cream failed in its prime role.Do NOT buy this cream

Keep reapplying every hour if you dont want to get burned
The recommendation is to reapply this at least every two hours. I did that and suffered some of the worst sunburn i have ever had (i normally use factor 20 or 25, reapplying every 2 hours) Highly recommend getting at least factor 50 and reapplying every hour if you do buy this reef safe product, you have to be very conscientious about its use.

Good suncream - little expensive
This is a nice neutral smelling sun cream (kind of reminds me of Nivea moisturiser). You only have to use a small amount to cover a decent area of your body, so a little goes a long way. Only thing is it says on the bottle to re-apply every couple of hours so it may not last as long as it seems. The price seems a little excessive at nearly £25.00 for 200ml but I assume they're aiming for the same market at St Tropez etc.
