I used these clamps on Mercedes 500 SEC fuel injection pipe. The pressure going through this line is pretty high. I have been driving the car for about a month and so far no leak. I tried the cheap zinc fuel injection clamps at first and they are not good enough for high pressure application. These stainless steel clamps are the way to go.

Do they work? Yes. Are they the right size? Just barely. I had to work pretty hard to get them over the hose. Are they strong? No. I used a screwdriver to tighten them down. When I user a 5 inch ratchet, I could break it with one finger pushing the ratchet. I'll probably run them for now but I definitely won't be ordering more...and I'll be checking really well for leaks.

Great upgrade to pressurized fuel lines away from regular clamps.

Good clamps, worked well. Case and wrench was a nice touch.

I tried using these on new fuel lines to attach to braided connectors. Very little torque can be applied until the nut end twists and breaks free of its housing. At max torque before this happens, the line can be pulled straight off as there’s next to no clamping force.This is cheap garbage. Do yourself a favor and get proper fixtures from McMaster Carr. Yes these are cheap, but they’re utterly useless. Since half the clamps broke just trying to get one line in place, I can’t return them… a waste of money.

Item description is wrong, clamps do not fit a 5/16 hose and seller thanked me for their mistake with no resolution.

The wrench is useless but the clamps are of good quality and accurate size. I'm using these on the fuel line of a 1983 Mercedes 300 SD restoration. They give the fuel lines an OEM appearance vs using a band type clamp.Recommended
