Well it was one of the easiest installs to date, works as good or better then my stock one and looks half decent. Not much to say about this thing. Read some reviews before purchasing. Unlike the stock one this one will not bend, might break off before it bends. Since it's short it doesn't hit the branch's along the dirt road i drive most often.[Which was why my stock one was bent into a C to begin with]

I wanted/need a shorter antenna so that I did not hit it everytime I was working on removing the top freedom panels of my jeep in my narrow garage and decided to buy this. I like the antenna, it is well made and looks good, is easy to install but one thing people need to understand is that you cannot get the same reception as the stock antenna with this one. I am in a perfect situation to attest this because I live in a small town just on the ede of the range of the big town radio stations and the difference it made is not massive, but instead of driving 5 mins to obtain my radio signal, I now drive 10 mins to catch it instead and I live about an hour away from the big town. Obviously, it depends on the signal strenght of your stations/towers etc but just keep in mind it will affect the reception a bit and if your ok with that, then its a good short antenna and I am very happy with the purchase for what I paid.

Unfortunately this antenna has terrible to no reception. In fact, I removed it and drove around without any antenna to test it and the signal quality was the same as with the antenna on Lol. I ended up reinstalling the oem TV antenna. I think this product looses connectivity due to the thread adapter not creating a solid core. Anyhow a total garage product. Stay away.

replaced the OEM antennae in 2 minutes with this. get some lock-tite or thread glue because you cant exactly clamp and screw in tightly due to it being inside the rubber housing. functionality is about 8.5/10 for reception compared with the original. I think its a fair trade-off for how sexy it looks though

Antenna was shorter than I imagined it would be. A much more elegant solution compared to stock Jeep Wrangler antennae. Installation is a little awkward due to the wider diameter created by the spiral on the base of the antenna. Furthermore, the rubber outer jacket at the base of the antenna protrudes from the base of the mounting thread, making it hard to tighten the antenna pass hand tight, very possible it will corrode in humid climates. Signal reception is on par with the OEM antenna.
