100% Cotton Velvet Fabric 56 inches Wide Black

I reupholstered two footstools with this fabric. The fabric photographs differently under different lighting conditions and surroundings. It’s a lovely neutral warm grey that works well with a variety color schemes.

Will use this to cover a chair and the color is a true royal blue. Very happy with the natural fiber content instead of all polyester.

wouldnt really call this velvet - more like a thin waleless corduroy

I ordered velvet cotton material. It's great quality and same color as posted photo. It's what I wanted and it arrived quickly.

The color of the fabric swatch online is always a wild card. It is hard to photograph fabric for a true-to-color rendition in the photo. They did a great job and I was pleased when the fabric arrived because I had to match this fabric to green sateen from another supplier. Restoring antique sterling silver picture frames always requires hunting for a suitable color and this had just enough of that antique traditional green to be accurate for a 100 year old picture frame.

This is absolutely bright fire engine red, and I wanted darker. Not great quality velvet, I’d call it “velvet like”. The pic shows this fabric on the bottom, and the top, high quality velvet I purchased elsewhere. I’m returning this fabric and didn’t know there is a 20% restocking fee until I went through the process.

Unlike the other reviewer, the color I received is a brighter blue than pictured (and I was hoping for darker). I actually prefer the matt surface of cotton velvet, and it's just not the quality I need for my project. The nap is very short and the fabric reflects light: pictured here is the velvet side. I'm not sure what I will use it for.

This is a beautiful fabric. It is not stretchy and is actually a little stiff, I will try washing to see if it softens a bit to see if I can use it for a dress. If it doesn't soften it would be perfect for toss pillows.It was as described by seller.
