This kit is excellent for my 10 year old child. Keeps her busy and creative. The manual, paper strips and the tools are of good quality. A highly recommended gift.

This quill on kids willing pen is really pretty good, it says it's for 7+ but my 5-year-old could use it with my help no problem. She's been seeing me making quilling arts for year's, the automatic quilling pen I am using is also from quill on, but it's metal, and It's not safe for the kids, so I couldn't let her use it. This pen is made out of plastic and it holds the the paper strap itself, makes the coil easily and fast. The only issue is that the battery runs out quickly, but it's still worth it!The kit also came with a lot of things, such as paper straps, glue, and different sizes of molds for making different shapes.Our daughter loves it, even my husband likes it and he made the dog with her.Overall, it's a great deal and can be an awesome gift for children.

My 7 year old loved this and says it was his favourite Christmas present. He's had loads of quiet, creative fun making pictures. It's refreshing to find a creative kit which isn't pink as many seem to be marketed heavily at girls - although that won't stop us buying something but it makes a nice change.The set has easy to understand instructions and everything is very achievable for a child to do on their own so they have full ownership of what they make which is also nice as some sets need quite a bit of adult involvement.

This has a lot of cute project ideas. The main selling point here is the battery-powered slotted tool. Advantages: larger & easier to hold than standard slotted tools (great for kids, perhaps also helpful for arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc.?), also it grabs the paper & spins it into a tight coil in milliseconds -- simple projects like the ones they show here take mere minutes. It's insane. Super fast; too clunky for detail work though, but great for stuff like this! Use glue though -- the adhesive on the strips that are included is like a practical joke or something.
