These come in a small bag and are very light weight. I use them for ornaments that I make. I would say though that it would depend on how many you are going to use and how big the vase is. They are definitely not as heavy as crushed glass. You might want to try using something heavier or maybe half and half. These also look and feel like sparkly diamonds. I hope this helps you. These are more like sparkly diamonds and I use them for the ornaments that I make. I think that they would be pretty in a small vase but you are going to need definitely more than one of these packets.
