It works in full sun 10/09/2022 at 11:35 at a range of 25 yrd using daisy power line 880 with stock scope. Will test with my other more capable lenses to see how far I can detect in full sun. One thing I did notice is if target is in a shadow you will be able to see the green dot really well. Even in full sun at greater ranges

The big challenge on most bore sighters is simply getting a solid mount. This did the trick. 😉👍

This actually worked , I knew it was gonna be made in china and have questionable tolerances for the true straightness of the laser but I sighted in 2 guns (AR & MCK) (both had red dots no magnification )went shooting today and hit 6X8 inch target from 40 yards standing first shot with both guns. laser was way brighter than I expected I sighted them in around 6pm had no problem seeing the laser at 25yrds .only con was the plastic sizing tips. the .223 size did not fit in my barrel ( I removed my muzzle brake ) , I used the smaller size and screwed it in a little more to get a snug fit .I did rotate the laser while on the barrel and found no movement of the beam at 10yrds in my basement .

I have not used this yet in combination with a live fire accuracy test, but it did help to understand how far off one of my scopes were! The various tips are great and accommodate a wide variety of bore diameters. Word of caution though: If you have an muzzle devices such as compensators or flash hiders, the stem of the laser may not be long enough to get the device to seat properly. Overall though, very easy to use and appears to be of good quality and build!

This thing is not as impressive as advertised. For one, the barrel sleeves don’t fit according to their size markings. And they don’t stay in place, making it rather difficult to know if you are getting an accurate sighting. When I started shooting after using this to sight, I wasn’t hitting where I had put the laser mark.
