The mobility of the wheels on carpet is pretty good! I thought it wouldn’t work, but I’m impressed. It’s also great that it doesn’t catch dust or hairs even after a couple of months of using it!

These are awesome for saving your wood floors from scuffs and scratches from hard office chair wheels. No need for a chair mat under a chair with these smooth rolling wheels! These are actually a smaller size (10MM stems) than most office chairs. I think IKEA chairs use this size also. I was really happy to find these in this size.

Those new wheels really feel smooth after installing them in my IKEA chair. It almost feels like I have a new chair now. Really easy to move my chair around now and it does protect my hardwood floor without a floor mat so far.

I hated using a floor protector to protect my hardwood floors and the wheels are easy to install fairly cheap and so smooth gliding on my floors

These types of wheels have trade offs.On one hand, you'll be able to roll around a bit easier and smoother. On the other hand, since these are one wheel per leg instead of the typical two wheels per leg, when you change directions like when backing away from your desk, they sort of flop and jerk the chair a little bit. These also add considerable height to your chair, an inch or so, so if your chair can't go down very far, you may need to raise your desk.One of my wheels became oblonged causing the wheel to squeek every 4 inches of floor covered or so. This also felt like a small bump every time the part of the wheel hit the ground.
