I mounted a heavy speedotron spot lite to this station. Great quality, it handles a 50lbs spotlight with ease.

This stand is made of crappy pot metal. Poorly design it cannot roll on a flat surface, the way it’s designed makes it just wobble. Also mine arrived in super beat up condition. That would have been ok if it was at least designed properly. But it’s not. Not worth the $50 at all! Maybe $15. It’s slightly heavy just simply because of the thick pot metal they made it with. Look elsewhere, don’t spend the money they are asking for this junk.

Firstly, this is not a stand to put a light on with a huge modifier. The base is not wide enough for that somake sure you are using it appropriately. This IS a stand that is perfect for a background light or a clamshell modifier for example. It is a sturdy build good design! Again though, this is not a stand to put large modifiers on (like soft, octa or strip boxes) but instead a light with some gels or barn doors. Hope this helps!

The stand was working normally, until one day, without warning one of the three wheels separated from the base! There are no instructions / provision for reattaching the wheel to the base; no screw / nut is visible to tighten/ reattach the wheel!I have to trash this equipment.

I have no idea what I ordered. The base is too narrow. I would not put anything on it that I did not want it tipping over

I like everything about the stand, I just wish it came a bit shorter and had a wider wheelbase for putting Heavier on the pole

You get what you pay for. The item is cheaply made. One of the casters keeps falling off and none of them roll properly. It basically does the job but would not recommend.
