I own 9 vacuums cleaners and this is the best!
I purchased my Tineco S12 Plus at Christmas 2019 as a present to myself. I'm a gadget nerd and a clean freak. I have a pretty big home and my home has never been so clean. I love all the extra tools that came with the S12 Plus. I use all of them. I looked at every review I could find and the EXCELLENT HEPA filter was a big deal to me. Every test showed that there is essentially no dust coming out of the filter. The quality build is really good and the trigger lock is something I use every time I vacuum. It's a BIG deal! The auto suction works well and it's nice to be able to adjust the motor speed with the infinite finger slide. It's really nice to have the two batteries although I seldom need the second battery. It's just nice to know I have it (every so often I swap batteries so they both get used). I also like that it comes with two (2) pre-filters. I have a powerful plug in canister vacuum and I use it to quickly clean the pre-filter. I use an EGO electric leaf blower to clean the rest of the dust bin and it's parts. I use NO water. I can clean EVERYTHING and be back vacuuming in 10 minutes. I will mention that the unit I received on Christmas eve malfunctioned after a few days. I contacted Tineco customer service and they were great. They sent me a brand new motor head and a return shipping label so I could send the bad unit back to them. I have been using this replacement for about two months now and it performs perfectly. I use it all the time. I had looked at buying the Dyson V-11 but after using this S12 Plus for about two months now, I am glad I purchased this unit instead of the Dyson. This Tineco is a better value. I don't own a smart phone so I don't have a need to connect my phone to my vacuum. Actually, I think that's a really dumb idea. Everything you need is displayed right on the vacuum head. I currently own nine (9) vacuum cleaners and have owned vacuums for about 50+ years.OK....I've now owned my Tineco for almost 2 years. I love it as much today as when I wrote the above review. I use it several times a week. I use it a lot because it is so easy and convenient to use. My home is really clean all the time. Tineco's customer service is great. Last week one of the small hinge attachments broke on the dust bin. It's plastic. I called Tineco customer service and had a representative on the line in a couple of minutes. I explained my situation. They asked me to send them a photo of the broken hinge. I sent it about an hour later. Within 24 hours, I received a notice that a new dust collector was on it's way to me. I couldn't ask for better service. Thanks Tineco. Sure glad I purchased a Tineco with all the great attachments. Lets see you dust your home, your computer and TV screens with a Dyson!!!!!! 2/04/2023.... I've now had my Tineco for 38 months. I still love it just as much. I just used it a few minutes ago. Thanks Tineco for a really wonderful product!

This is a $200 vacuum MAX!! Junk!!!
I was hoping for the best vacuum I have ever had with this! All the positive reviews praised this vacuum! All I can say is DO NOT READ any other review on this... They know not what a vacuum should do!!!1st, we had many cordless vacuums over the past 5+ years, only Dysons have lived up to the hype and they have their issues!!! Dyson v6, V8, V10, V11, a few sharks. We also have a tineco wet/dry S3 that we like BUT this S12 is only worth $200 MAX!!!!PROS....- Lightweight- Light on the end of the heads- Easy to dump- Easy to disassemble and clean- comes with all the attachments and soft head- 2nd Battery charger built into BaseCONS- Cheaply made (more flimsy plastic) compared to Dyson vacs- Does NOT have the power to suck up compared to Dyson- Suction dies down below 80% on max (because max is the only option to get this vac to actually suck things properly)!!- Should have never been released to the public!!!!!!!!When we clean our bed, we vacuum up the mattress and we always get some white lint from the sheets with the Dyson, this one could not get anything AT ALL from the mattress, we used the Dyson V11 after and low and behold the white lint BUT not from this!! ON MAX YET!Now my wife is telling me about suction problems and I did not initially believe her DUE to all the CRAP Positive reviews on here and anywhere on this vacuum, to I started to use it, and I noticed it was not that loud as usual, battery was down 50% left, so I plugged in the 2nd fully charged battery and BAM , I could hear the motor more and suction was the best this could do (BUT nowhere near the Dyson), then down to below 80% and the motor slowed down again, this is something all of our Dyson have NEVER EVER done!!I packed up this overpriced, garbage vac and sent it back to Amazon!!!!In auto mode, is like you using a crappy dust buster trying to pick up dirt.We use all our cordless vacs on MAX, why because that is actually the only mode that sucks up everything !! if you don't care about sucking up every spec, then just buy a $100 cordless vac, Ill save your hundreds!!that's my rant, OH one more thing.... I also tried to remove the filter (the one that blows the air out (NOT the suction one, that one was brand new we only had this for 2 days max) and still no where near the suction as the Dyson .If this was $200 for the 12s EX then my review would be totally different BUT $700 and ($530 on sale) GARBAGE !!

Its better than the dyson!
To be clear I am not paid to review and this is an awesome vacuum. I have been using it nearly everyday as i see how much dirt and dust it picks up even when i think everything is clean.*LIKE/LOVE:- i rarely need to use anything but auto mode. I vacuum my entire 1000 sqft apartment and usually have 85% battery remaining. There are two batteries included! Some of these poor reviews are out of touch with reality insinuating a poor battery life.-the 4 hyper white led lights on the two main heads show u dirt you would not see with a package like dyson. i can literally see a trail of dust on either sides of the vacuum head on what i thought to be clean floors. It will always pick up more dirt than what you thought there was. I now vacuum each day.-your not rinsing a single filter design like the dyson. It comes with an attachment (and one extra filter) to dry clean the dust so you don't have to wait to dry before using again. It works extremely well!-i saw a negative review on the head scratching a floor. Foul play. I don't see any way this vac could do that unless using as unintended. The s12 comes with two heads. One for hard floors and one for carpet. You need both. There was a poor review on power and using the carpet head on hard flooring. It still works but the soft brush is amazing on hard floor such as wood. As intended...-there are two filters that include a metal chamber that quickly disassembles and the filter that is cleaned with included attachment. I love the maintenance of this machine. Very well thought out!-I haven’t seen one review of the flexibility of being able to use this vac in your car. The attachments make this thing a dream for getting all the hard to reach spots. If your tired of rushing to avoid spending all your change or holding the person in line up behind you at the car wash, this cordless and hose-less vac will make for a much better experience.-IMPROVE:-the quality, finish, and feel are top notch with intuitive display but the trigger (which can be locked in running position!) wiggles, cheapening the experience.-the dust-bin has a dust sensor in it so i cant flush the bin out with water. Cleaning it with a wet cloth will slowly scuff the plastic bin. I love the transparency of the bin so i can see how much dirt has accumulated and in which filter but the bin needs to be made so i can flush it with running water.-vacuum heads need bumpers.-the dry wall studs where not thick enough. I purchased ones that worked better. My family and i love this vac. If i see any reason to complain in the future (which i feel is highly unlikely after a great deal of using this already) i will update my review.I highly recommend the s12. Well worth the money!!1YR Update:We use the dyson handheld on my submarine. They break. They lose suction on load after only a few months. So happy I went tineco!2YR Update:Came back from a deployment and the white vacuum had been scuffed by my kid as it was his chore while i was gone. I simply took a clorox wipe and it all came off. Looks brand new. This is a tough and resilient made product. The battery life has not changed a bit nor has effectiveness. Im buying their hair drier for my wife next. Only complaint is that they dont offer more products.

Makes it Easy
1st Day Unboxing: There's a LOT in this box, every attachment you will every want. The Challenge: Two dogs, one a puppy who is stealthily using the carpet for potty purposes, the other who has very fine hair that no vac other than sonicleanh has been able to fully get up off the hardwood floors and carpet. No vac could get all the fine hairs up and people left the house with ... white hairs on them because it kicks up. Dusty environment. The background: I have not owned a $600 vac before so I cannot compare it to other $600 vacs. I have a miele....which is useless for the dog hair and for carpet. I had a sonicaire that I really liked until the belt broke, and the technician had me take the whole thing apart to replace the belt, and it was never the same after that. It still left some of that fine dog hair, but it did a pretty good job originally. I have also never had a cordless vac. I had all the carpets professionally cleaned 3 days prior.First: This is lightweight, cordless makes it so easy to clean. It can go completely under the beds, sofa, chairs etc, into corners, so you don't have to move furniture around. The main component is small, and you just attach the attachments to it.I did the whole house on one charge with 5% left over, approximately 2000 sf. Upstairs is mostly hardwood, downstairs and stairs are carpet. You are not going to get a workout with this vac, its very light. It cleaned all surfaces with one sweep. NO dog hair left. Every other vac I've had could not get all the dog hair off the hardwood surfaces, and most likely not out of the carpet either. This vac gets in all the crevices, corners and you an vac anything with the all the attachments it comes with. I just did the floors and don't think I would have had enough charge left for too much of anything else. However, just having the carpets done....this vac pulled out dog hair and dirt that the professionals couldn't get.Attachments and main component are white. So wipe it down after cleaning or its going to look dirty. I'm not kidding when I say this has lots of attachments....but I'm pretty sure I'll be using all of them.I don't think I want to put the charger on the wall, so I just detach the attachment and put the main component on the charger and plug it in. See pic.The collection bin, gets full pretty fast, I emptied it 3 times .....but it is small and easy to empty. To keep it looking clean, wipe the bin and filter off after you are done. The LED light on the floor attachment, as others have said is a great feature. I vac'd in the dark to see how it would work. Its lights everything...those fine hairs glowed! Got it all up.The app feature, took a while to set it up, because the app would not connect to the wireless. Had to install, uninstall, install, uninstall several times before it would connect. Having it connected now, it shows when to empty the cylinder, how much battery power is left, ..... eh....not real useful as that is all on the machine anyways. There is so much freedom of movement with this vac. If it holds up, this will be the best vac I've ever had. Will update as time goes on. It will pay for itself in 2 years as I end up having to replace $200 , $300 vacs every 2-3 yearsUPDATE 7/20. Still going well with this vac., it is getting all the dog hair up in one sweep plus a lot of other stuff. A little more info, it comes with an extra battery so you have two AND it comes with an extra filter, and a filter cleaner. I've used most of the attachments. Cleaning the filter (either in the cleaner or running it under water) is important to get rid of any musty (dog) smell the vac picks up.

Not worthy of it price........
This is a great looking vacuum. Light weight, easy to maneuver and loads of attachments. I haven’t even used them all. The ease of switching to short attachments is quite easy. The batteries are easy to change out as well. The charge lasts if you don’t amp up the power, if you amp it up, then it dwindles fast. I got the extra battery so it’s not an issue for me.The power screen on the unit is easy to read.I bought this unit in June 2020. 4 months later, after standard use not heavy at all, it stopped working properly. If it did suck up debris it would soon spit it out again. Very frustrating. I went ahead and cleaned the filter, looked to see if there was any blockage, cleaned the roller, cleaned the canister, etc. It worked for about another 2 weeks and the same thing again.I understand keeping filters clean regularly, etc. but having to take it apart more often than you actually use it is ridiculous especially at this price point!!!!! I only have a few area rugs, since I have tile and hardwood floors throughout the house, so there is no heavy carper vacuuming. The canister is the average size of most stick vacs, so that’s pretty standard. Having to lock the power button in place is a bit weird, but whatever. This filter cleaning after 2 light uses is unacceptable. I feel the price is mostly for the extra battery and the cool attachments, which, again, are plentiful. But that’s it. The machine itself doesn’t hold up. A dyson at the same price is a better buy for the quality of the machine. I had a Dyson stick vac that I left in a previous home. This was not an equivalent buy unfortunately.
