Excellent book
My daughter absolutely loved this book and said I had to read it. So I did and I am in agreement. Excellent middle school book. About time travel, history and friendship.

Great Time Travel Story for Middle Grade Readers
Loved this, especially the snarky relationship between the two kids (though, I’ve been reading waaaay too many enemies to lovers romcoms and kept having to remind myself that this is a book FOR CHILDREN and that there will be none of that).Time travel books are really tricky to pull off, but this one worked. Did it all make perfect sense? .. not exactly, but it made enough sense to be reasonable and super engaging. I am a little freaked out by the amount of war/violent death these kids are forced to see up close while glitching - yikes.Overall this was a highly enjoyable middle grade sci-fi pick. I would love for this to be turned into a series!

A great read aloud
I read to my 7yo son every day and we’re always looking for books that both of us can enjoy. While this content may be too much for sensitive children (some graphic historical depictions) my son weathered these well and each became a further talking point for us. The storyline really gripped us both and the author does a great job of expressing the feelings of the pre-teen characters. Great cliffhanger at the end as well! My son was begging for a second installment of this book.

Her best book yet
BOOK REVIEW TIME! (No spoilers)Glitch by Laura Martin is easily the best middle-grade book I’ve read in the past year. It’s fun and fast-paced, the characters are believable, the plot fresh yet not overly predictable, plus time travel 🙌🏼. I truly couldn’t put it down. I would say it’s best for 10+. I will probably get the audible version so the kids and I can listen together in the car.It is also uncanny how Martin adeptly addresses the timely issue of our checkered American history is. “You can’t hurry history, and you can’t fix an injustice until people recognize that it is one.” Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I sincerely hope this becomes a series. And of course, as usual, Read Aloud Revival is right on. If you don’t want to take my word for it, take Sarah’s! 😂😉

Great read for middle school
I bought this book for my 12-year-old grandson to read. He enjoyed it and we had several great conversations about the book. It deals with some issues that middle schoolers face and how to overcome them. Learning to work together with someone that you don't really like is important and you just might find that the person is not who you thought. My grandson also looked up some of the historical details to see if they were correct. That was an extra bonus.
