Very nicely designed active grommet cover, Fits well however it could have used some ribbing on its sides so that it would stay securely in the hole when you are un/plugging something. I added a thin line of grout to it and that seems to have done the trick so it doesn't pull out too easily. Well designed product and very easy to pop into a grommet hole.

I really like this grommet. I actually have two of theses in my desk now. These grommets are so convenient while you are sitting at the desk. You can plug-in laptop, smart phone or even tablet. Sometimes when I am sitting at the desk I will plug my headset in to let it charge up. When I am away from my desk I plug-in my wireless mouse and wireless keyboard to charge up. I have two of them in my desk. These grommets are great to have. To whoever thinking about getting one I recommend do not put anything that is open with liquid on your desk. You will cause a disaster if it spill toward the Power tap grommet.

Heavy construction. I had a hard time finding a hole saw that matched this diameter at a big box hardware store so is a little loose and smaller than the other grommets. Not the fault of the product, just so other buyers know. Works great and no brainer for my Mac Air that has one charger that gets unplugged and plugged regularly without having to fish a cord or plug into the wall.

Would be nice if there was more room for cables/cords but other than that, it's pretty good!

Overpriced compared to other options on amazon. Given it only has a single outlet and a single slow charging port. Go with another option...

We tried it with 2 different types of mobile phones and it did not work.The electric plug works fine.They other hole is for an ethernet cable to pass through which is useful. The little clip that make that hole smaller would not stay in place.

The grommet was easy to install (with the correct tools) and looks like it belongs in the desk. It is the same size as the whole the desk came with (for plugs to route through from the floor to the electronics on the desk). The only problem is that the pencil sharpener with an USB cord does not work with this plug. I just think it doesn't give enough power to run the sharpener, however, it does charge my phone. It is a small problem and I like that I do not have to bend over to unplug my 2-in-1 every time I pack it up to take to work.
