Very good grip points
These will work to extract a few insane stuck studs, they can deform a little due to how hard you have to grip a stuck stud. However, they are needed and worth the money instead of a tap and drill which is a few hundred bucks per bolt.

Grip items which other pliers will have difficulty gripping
These pliers are very good at gripping things that other pliers cannot easily grip. In particular, they are good at grabbing items which present very little surface area to interface with the jaws of the pliers. I originally purchased these pliers to grab the back end of Chicago screws. I quickly found them useful while installing a light fixture, for grabbing and twisting very stiff electrical wires to make the necessary connections.

HA I CAN'T BELIEVE IT BUT THIS SAVED THE DAY... TWICE
Funny story - I googled top rated tools to buy on Amazon and this popped up. Seemed to have great reviews so I bought one for my father for Christmas. Well, while I had it sitting in my closed waiting to be given, in the meantime, I had contractors at my home doing work. Well, I noticed one of them was really struggling for a long time trying to remove a screw in order to remove the ceiling fan to add a receiver for remote control. Then.. DING... a light went off in my head, and I said, "Wait a sec! I think I might have something that could help!" So I gave him the pliers, and THEY WORKED PERFECTLY. Saved the day! The contractor was so impressed, he wanted all the info to get them himself. Well I was feeling generous, and gave him that set. Then, I ordered another set for my dad again. Then, about a month later, a the philips head to a super tiny decorative screw in a flush pull got stripped. So I ordered the Vampliers Mini version ... AND THEY SAVED THE DAY AGAIN. I proceeded to order a full sized pair for myself and my boyfriend as well. So... needless to say - highly recommend these little gems!
