OK if you are not using an iPad Mini case.
Ultimately, it was not strong enough to hold up an iPad Mini with a case on it. I suspect the case added too much weight and therefore caused the iPad to not hold in a position depicted in the photos. Gravity would take over.

All Metal Stand or Mount - Well Made and worth the price!
This is a really well made product! It is all metal - I expected that it would be ABS plastic, but not so. This is NOT the best mount or stand for a phone you use daily. The metal back plate which attaches to your phone or tablet is not meant to be removed several times per day as noted in the listing. It is metal and heavy. I am using this to mount my old iPhone which I have turned into my navigation system in my car - therefore, it stays in place all day and this is a beautiful perfect mount. I am ordering another one to turn another old iPhone into my bedside alarm. This device works great as a stand (quite stable) and also as a glass/windshield mount. Highly recommend this product (for the right use).

The sticky mount that is supposed to keep the ipad ...
The sticky mount that is supposed to keep the ipad connected to the magnetic stand does not hold well and the stand is not very stable. If you can get the sticky surface to hold the stand most times will fall over when you remove the ipad from the magnetic stand.

Nice and sleek.
It's a very sleek and handy product. You can even place it on a flat protection case. Not the bulky ones just the simple plane back ones with the magnetic flap cover. They should make another one like this but a little taller. This one is perfect for iPad minis. I like it. And it shipped in less than 5 days.

This holder looked REALLY cool and sleak
This holder looked REALLY cool and sleak, but did nothing to hold onto the iPad. Iphone...sure, but if that were the case, I would not have purchased a tablet sized holder for a phone.

Wasted $100 and it got useless after 2 weeks
The rubber dried out in couple days and doesn't hold my cell phone nor my ipad. Wasted $100 and it got useless after 2 weeks. Wouldnt recommend it.

Great for a iPhone, but not iPad
I purchased this for an iPad. It's not big enough for an iPad. But I kept it because it is wonderful for an iPhone.

Not what it looks like!
It doesn't hold straight. The ipad is too heavy and pushes it down.
