picture quality is excellent. Now for the down side
I give this a 4 out of 5 stars.For the most part, this works well for streaming movies or YouTube from my phone to my none-smart tv.Setup was a breeze and for the most part, picture quality is excellent.Now for the down side, but keep in mind, I believe the negative is mostly from my phone (Galaxy Edge S7), I think...I don't know if it's because of apps running in the background or if it's the lag time between my phone an this product, but every now and again, I'll get a lag, sometimes really bad. If it does happen, it'll only hapoen once or twice during a movie. When it does, I'll pause my movie, and disconnect and then reconnect the Adapter snd then unpause my movie abd this does the trick.A minor nuisance when using my streaming movie app.

It works pretty well, The instructions are a little vague in general but if you have a galaxys7 edge its even more confusing and that was what i struggled with. i had to youtube it and later on instead i looked in the reviews to find how to set it up. and was actually really simple.So if you have an s7edge at the top of your home screen pull up the drop menu, look for the down arrow to the right of your screen, then look for smart view. it should connect then.

Worked Well - Samsung Galaxy S6 Active
This worked great with my phone and does exactly what I need it to. The setup was a bit confusing, I suggest watching the video referenced in the directions. Once it's set up it is really easy to use. I do wish I could set the default setting to Android, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Does what it's supposed to do
I hooked this up to my projector, it's compatible with my galaxy s7, the only thing is that you have to download the miracast app

I'm so excited that I bought this product, it was so easy to set it up it took me about 2 minutes to make it work, now I can watch movies on my TV screen using my Samsung.Don't believe people saying that it is complicated to make it work.

Constantly drops connection
Worked pretty good for the first hour or so. Then it started dropping the connection by resetting from Android to Mac. I would have to press the switch button to get back to Android, then establish the connection again. As time when on, it started happening more often. The last movie I watched it reset no less than 10 times.Side note of disappointment. Stand too close to this device and I get a weird headache.
