Appleblossom the Possum

Excellent. Let’s teach our children better than we were taught!!

So I wish Amazon would work with the publisher to show you inside the book... It has illustrations, but the book itself is more of a storybook for a parent to read than a book a child would read on his/her own. The book size was smaller than I expected, but thats my fault. As far as content and storyline, I love it! Its adorable and inspiring. I purchased for my four year old niece and it is a perfect storytime book that her dad and mum read with her. I'm only ranking 4 stars for the lack of clarity on Amazon's part for explaining that this is a text heavy book with several chapters and not just an illustrated picture book for children.I purchased a stuffed animal Opposum for my niece to go with the book, and she loved it! She named her Appleblossom.

The Appleblosslom book is a cute story. My child enjoyed the teacher reading it out loud in his so much he asked for a copy of it for the house. The story line keeps kids intrigued and intrigued. It also helps with counting by 7s.

The BEST children's book I have ever read. My 6 year old and I read a few chapters every night before bed. Opossums are the most misunderstood creatures. As a rehabber,the details in this storyline are spot on. These creatures serve great purpose in our daily lives. They are tick eating machines. Growing up in the South,I too was raised believing "possums" are mean,dirty creatures. They wash their hands and faces as soon as they are finished eating. Groom like a cat. This poignant story touched our hearts as I hope it will yours. Thanks for writing a amazing book♡♡♡

Appleblossom The Possum was a great book . This book is about Appleblossom falling onto a chimney from a fight with her brothers . The people who live in the house are some of the monsters Applesom's mom told her all about know she must find a way out of the monster house and avoid being seen . My favorite part of this book is when her brothers found their mom dancing on a roof in the moonlight and when her brothers discovered their papa but you must read more to find out . I encourage you to rad this book .

Cute story about the adventures of an oppossum. You cheer for her bravery and love the sweet outlook she has. I bought this for my neice and I know she is going to love it. I sure did.

This CD is absolutely delightful; and Dustin Hoffman does a fantastic job of reading this funny, charming book. (It's entertaining to hear the voice of Rain Main and Tootsie.) My 8-year old son is riveted as we listen to a couple of chapters every night. Five stars for the book and reading.HOWEVER, I purchased this thinking it was a CD + book set. It's not, so be advised that you'll have to buy the book separately. That makes it a rip-off, whether it's Amazon or the publisher's fault. One star for the rip-off!

I read this aloud to my 6-year old son, and he loved it! He laughed out loud at points and begged me to read "just one more chapter" each night. I personally didn't LOVE it (I prefer James and the Giant Peach), but I did enjoy it and appreciate all the acting analogies, which escaped him. Overall, a good story with good life lessons.
