I needed only one of these but found it difficult to find offers with the threaded tubes (the cord goes through) included. The price of these was right. They seem well made when I inspected them upon arrival. Mine were flawless. I replaced an overhead lamp socket with one and it worked perfectly. It’s hard not to be satisfied.

I bought outdoor dusk-to-dawn lights for my house at Costco three years ago, but unfortunately, they no longer carry them. Over time, all the LEDs in those lights stopped working one after another. To save myself a considerable amount of money, I decided to purchase these sockets and rewired the lights myself. Additionally, I bought and installed dusk-to-dawn bulbs to address the problematic sensor issue on the lamps. I'm extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend using these sockets for similar projects. It's a cost-effective and efficient solution.

Replaced the old sockets and wire in a Tiffany style lamp shade. Perfect fit.

Easy to use

Building a copy of a light designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and these look period correct. Seem to be good quality as well, and inclusion of the threaded pipe to mount them was a pleasant surprise.

I was able to retrofit an LED light to a build type light. Worked great!
