What I got did not look anything like the product description. Ordered one as a gift and one for myself on two different orders. Both times I got what looked like a pruner for plants

My ONLY problem, and the ONLY reason I won't give five stars, is the price. I have worn out one pair of these, almost worn out a second pair and started on a third. They are made well and strong but not that well made and strong and I just use them that much. They last longer when you don't get lazy and use them as wire cutters.Even so, they are a small, not fancy, hand held set of plastic zip tie cutters that have a clever hooked end to the blades that CAN'T BE BEAT when it comes to removing tight zip ties or just doing anything with plastic or nylon zip ties of any size.But, frankly, they are a $10-15 tool, at most, and they are charging $40. The free enterprise system ought to design something similar and at least sell them for $20. It can't be that hard to make hooked cutting blades for plastic.Otherwise, every worker who regularly uses zip ties wants a pair of these. I guarantee it.

This is one well made zip tie cutter. I've had it in service for awhile and it still cuts like new and I anticipate it will probably last a life-time.

Great for cutting cable ties off hoses etc, that you don't want to damage, or in difficult spots to reach. Saves time and headaches. Price seems a little much, but I still haven't found them anywhere else.
