I recently added a USB 12v plug to my 1936 Ford. Wanted something that would be easily accessible, but hidden from eye site. Installed in the glove box on the upper left corner. Some trimming was made to the housing to allow a custom touch to the glovebox.

Used this housing with power sockets purchased from amazon. Works Great!

I had picked up a double socket panel similar to this for my truck fridge. It was very useful so I thought I would give the individual sockets a try. These did not dissappoint. They work exactly as I wanted and the quality is as good as the name brand double I had purchased before. Highly recommend these, the quality is good, mounting is simple, and they work as expected.

This allows you to mount one USB charger to a flat surface. I modified it slightly to allow it to fit to a slightly curved surface. Solid

I used this inside my glovebox to install two 12v power ports. I wired one to turn on/off with the ignition power and it powers my dash cam. All the wiring for the dash cam is tucked behind the panels and dash too. I wired the other with a fused wiring to be a constant on. This gives us an outlet to use to charge a phone up while parked somewhere and it can be locked in the glovebox. Also good for using the GMRS on the trails.Two 12v power outlets were pretty snug inside but fit very well, not too much room, didn't have to force anything to fit either. The placement for us was a bit predetermined - we already had one hole in the glovebox from a previously installed outlet we moved over to this unit. We just ran the wires out that hole.

Exactly what I needed.
